For our 4th release of 2024 we are excited to welcome back label mainstay Mani Festo for the follow up to his excellent “Eye’s Open EP” released on DEXT back in 2022 . “Ripple EP” sees him continue to develop and elevate his sound by taking things to more of a deeper level than his previous release’s. The theme of introspection is tightly woven throughout this EP as allot of time looking inwards was done while working on the tracks which were developed from sketches’ over a two year period.
The artist says - “It’s not overtly designed for the dance floor, deep melancholic moments are ever present, underpinned by heavyweight soundsystem music, something that is deeply embeded in my inspirations”
All the trade mark breakbeats and heavily saturated drums sounds we have come to expect from Nick are Omnipresent but refined in such a way he can stamp his own signature of distinctive uniqueness.  The EP covers a diverse range of styles and emotional soundscapes from Ethereal pads underpinned by rolling breaks to straight up balls to the walls overdriven 4x4 techno nastiness, and to top things off we have one of the UKs original underground hero’s Hooverian Blur getting in on the action with a killer no nonsense remix aimed firmly at the dance floor.
