A long time friend of the label and an artist who needs no introduction, Recondite presents two unique techno narratives for his much anticipated first EP on Life and Death.

Up first and straight out the gate like the turning of the great Boethian wheel, Think Twice turns over and on top of itself again, like the march of time and the fortunes of paupers and princes alike. An ever advancing urgent reminder of the transitory nature of the eternal now, it graces us with her beauty and leaves us with a shaking sensation deep in our bones. 

On the B side, Serak begins with a bellowing bass emitted like a series of holotropic breaths from belly of Stanislav Grof himself. A sequence of sounds sent like a fishing line to the depths of the psyche, it returns with a portentous melody that winds and wanders until exploding midway thru the piece in a burst of restrained emotion.

A warm welcome to @vadimooov where he explores the concept that true balance doesn't eliminate tension—it harmonizes like a prayer spoken in frequencies only the subconscious understands. Layers of ethno-spiritual textures drift like incense smoke over a foundation of deep, purposeful kicks that anchor the listener's journey.

The silence isn't empty space; it's pregnant with possibility, allowing each sound to breathe with intentional weight. Organic percussion elements dance with synthesized atmospheres, creating a soundscape that feels both ancient and futuristic. This is meditation music for the modern mystic—contemplative enough for inner work, yet substantial enough for conscious movement.

Step into a moonlit river of sound. Session XIX — Lanterns Over the Water drifts through the heart of Japan’s shrine and lantern traditions, weaving non‐lexical shrine chorus hums, shakuhachi sighs, koto glissandi, and taiko heartbeat pulses into a deep, meditative lounge journey.
Inspired by Kyoto’s Gion nights, coastal lantern festivals, and the still elegance of Shinto shrine waters, this session captures a ritual calm where fireflies, incense smoke, and floating lights move as one.

You learned that there are genres.
Everything separated into categories with their own canon and rules: Major, minor, 4/4, 6/8, highs, lows, high head, butt end.
Techno here, Disco there. You learned that art and music are two different things. Visually auditory, audio-visual, optically acoustic, not to mention the surface feel.
Listen to me, look at me, touch me. But everything in that order please! You have learned that understanding takes you further.
Night / life, rhythm / dancing, substance / excess, water / holding out, sleep / rest, headache / not good.
But what would it be if all of that wasn't just right? If all of our knowledge is based on the mistake of having to put everything in relation? To classify it, to make it responsive.
What do we do with something that doesn't follow the rules of this logic? That is not based on 0 and 1 and therefore not bound to our binary systems? Is this all at once?
After all, what if the whole thing has no limits?
