"This is the cover of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists, On The Beach by Neil Young. When i first heard that song, i felt like i could have or should have written it. The lyrics are so dark and beautiful, they relate to the slightly autistic part that a lot of artists are hiding and the artist condition in general. But I'm no Neil Young when it comes to song-writing, so instead of trying to write something as good, I decided to make a cover, twist that blues tune and turn it into something completely different and (much to my surprise) even darker, to the point where most people don't even recognize the original song." Arno Gonzalez is producing a modern house sound that sometimes ventures into melodic territory close to Electronica, the Angevin artist was first spotted by the Parisian label Missive, then by Timid Records, on which he released his debut album “Encounters”, as well as a number of EPs and remixes...

Today, he is one of the spearheads and leaders of Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, with whom he is on a mission to perpetuate and reinvent a certain vision of House and Techno music.

With this third album, which marks “the end of innocence”, Arno explodes the codes of his music to better transcend them. We find his inimitable touch, a particular sound that is sometimes minimal, sometimes warm and melodious, a real signature on 13 tracks that tells a real story.

If this is the end of innocence, it's also the beginning of maturity.

London nightclub fabric and its in-house, artist-led label Houndstooth have released a huge, 111-track compilation of previously unreleased music.  #SaveFabric features tracks from Clams Casino, Skream, Machinedrum, Coldcut, Simian Mobile Disco, Clark, Howie B, µ-Ziq, Terry Francis, Mumdance, Caspa & Rusko, Roman Flügel, Route 94, and many other artists who all donated their music.

On 7th September, fabric’s license was revoked forcing the closure of one of the UK’s most important venues and adding to the 50% of clubs closed in London since 2008.  A court date for Fabric’s appeal hearing has been set for 28th November.  With proceeds going towards their ongoing campaign to re-open, purchasing the #SaveFabric Compilation – which costs just £9.99 – is a chance for fans of music, clubs, culture and nightlife to support fabric and Houndstooth.
