it was the surrealistic dream coming true moment for me when i got booked by the person who inspired me to be a dj (@frida-darko 🧡, she’s the first person who made me have to find out who was playing at the moment, iykyk ;)) playing for the bday party of the collective that influenced me the most in my very early days of music digging with their new wave downtempo movement.(@rebelliondertraumer)

thanks for all my hottest lady/friends front row ass shaking for me and absolutely tore up the floor with your energy 🥰 and the loveliest crowd for hyping me uppp >3

i always say l learn as i play cuz i’m so lucky for having people support me along this crazy journey, this set is the direct reflection of the learnings i had in the past few months since getting into this dj shenanigan. i know it’s been a particularly tough time for a lot of us, hope you can feel my intention in this set and feel some hopes and naughty/nati booty shaking vibes of letting go 💝

Ich habe lang überlegt, was ich mit dieser Aufnahme machen soll. Denn hier zu hören gibt es nur ein halbes Fiasco Festival Set. Quasi bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, als die Policia anrückte und ich die Musik ausstellen musste haha. Die Aufnahme danach war leider aus irgendeinem Grund beschädigt. Da in so einer Set Vorbereitung viel Arbeit steckt, wollte ich nochmal neu und komplett aufnehmen und hab`s dann schließlich sein lassen.

Alsooo gibt es anbei einmal die 55 Minuten Fiasco Festival zu hören, in diesen meine Friends und ich ziemlich viel Spaß hatten und die ich voll genossen habe. Dankiii für euren Support: Fiasco Kollektiv, TänzerInnen und alle, die sich angesprochen fühlen. Liebe! Ohne euch wäre alles nur halb so schön. xox

We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already, so we started asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but many said yes and this is our 12th Cuddle Cast within one year.

It is a very special one, because it is our second cuddle cast recorded by a couple, namely by @ghostofher & @ditolove. 

We feel the love throughout the set and we hope that you do too.

Cuddle Cast # 12 - Ghost of Her & dit:eau present: A Universe of Bliss

She was up with her head in the clouds so high that she found herself further in outer space than ever before. She enjoyed the ride with curiosity, excitement and full of energy. And she wasn't alone. During her journey, she met the Planetary Alliance for Collective Enlightenment (PACE), as coordinated by @kollektiv-equilibria. They all found themselves vibrating at the same frequency and slowly started hooking into each other to form a massive web of joyous beings. She enjoyed it so much that she decided to bring them all back to earth. And so they all descended from space, landing in such a soft and cuddly manner that they gently bounced over the planet's surface until they eventually came to a peaceful and content stillstand.

One night, she rode on a shooting star over the mountains of Cavaglia, when she saw a colourful and joyous crowd celebrating life and love close to a river and a beautiful waterfall. She floated down, found a magical tent with flowers and people dancing barefoot and she knew where she wanted to be in that moment. She started playing energetic music for them and suddenly, the whole tent felt like it was riding a shooting star, slowly decending back to earth as the night progressed, landing on a loving and peaceful morning.

🗯🗯 Wie hat Corona dein Künstlerleben verändert? 🗯🗯

Die Veränderungen haben bei mir ziemlich schlagartig und sogar während des Auflegens eingesetzt. Eine halbe Stunde nachdem ich meinen Gig auf dem Tribal Gathering Festival in Panama angefangen hatte, kam jemand zu mir auf die Bühne und bat mich aufzuhören, da plötzlich das Militär vor den Toren stand und mit einem Lockdown drohte. Das Festival durfte zwar später weiterlaufen, aber für mich war dies der Moment, in dem sich alles geändert hat.

Wieder zu Hause habe ich dann aus dem Bedürfnis heraus, irgendwas zu tun, bei zwei Videostreams gespielt, allerdings hat mich dieses Format nicht wirklich überzeugt. Ich finde das einen traurigen Versuch, etwas zu ersetzen, das ohne persönliche Nähe nicht ersetzbar ist, deswegen habe ich es dann gelassen. Danach habe ich noch zwei Podcasts gemacht, einen für Tal der Verwirrung und nun diesen hier, für United We Rise 🙂 

Bei meinem ersten Gig seit dem Beginn der Pandemie (auf dem Wumms Festival, der ersten Ausgabe der Festival-Reihe auf dem Wilde Möhre Gelände) durfte ich dann das Festival eröffnen. Als da die ersten Bässe aus der Anlage kamen, war ich ziemlich überwältigt und glücklich.

Ich vermisse die Festivals und das gemeinsame Tanzen sehr, aber wenn ich ehrlich bin, kann ich diese unfreiwillig auferlegte Auszeit auch genießen. Ich hatte diesen Sommer viel Zeit für Quality time mit Freund:innen und Familie, die hatte ich die letzten Jahre kaum.

🗯🗯 Wo hast du diesen Mix aufgenommen? Wie ging es dir dabei? 🗯🗯

Diesen Mix habe ich in unserem Massageraum aufgenommen, Corona bedingt musste unser „Spielzimmer“ dahin umziehen. Das hat mir ein bisschen ein Gefühl von Wellness gegeben, weil es so gut nach Massageöl riecht. Davon abgesehen vermittelt der Podcast denke ich ganz gut meine momentane Stimmung.

🗯🗯 Was wünscht du dir für die Zeit nach oder mit Corona? 🗯🗯

Ich wünsche mir einen verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit der Pandemie, in der Hoffnung einen Weg zu finden, uns unsere Feierkultur Stück für Stück zurück zu erobern, ohne uns und andere Menschen zu gefährden. Ich betrachte diesen Zustand nach wie vor als eine Phase, die hoffentlich irgendwann vorbei sein wird. Und ich hoffe inständig, dass all die kleinen und größeren alternativen Kultur- und Freiräume und ihre Künstler:innen und Kollektive diese Phase überstehen.
