I've wanted to make a #dark #horror-music version of Tchaikovsky's classic main theme (the #Swan-Theme ) from Swan Lake for a while, and finally got around to doing it. Tchaikovsky's approach to composing music is one of the foundations of modern film music and lends itself really well for genre-themed covers.  

There's definitely already a great atmosphere for #horror-music in this composition by itself, which can be heard in my arrangement for piano and viola for this song. By twisting the recordings for that version around, adding guitar and synthesizer and a few sound design effects, the result is #suspenseful and #terrifying music.

I hope you'll enjoy this #creepy #neoclassical cover of the amazing original by tchaikovsky.

Set in the late 60's, broken relationships and an astronomical event intertwine the various narrative threads - an abstract interpretation of the historical Christmas narrative.

We Are Infinite

This is our first full-scale record. On this album we showed a wide spectrum of material which was studied within several years. Experimenting different genres of instrumental music, we created breaking off post-metal compositions, wraparound and placatory ambient elements and melodies reflecting the real human happiness which, we hope, will inevitably switch on light and will lodge hope in each needing soul.

The hearth warms your bones as you peer out the crosshatch window. The damp morning dew forms translucent drops on the knee high grass. Whatever was out there last night seems gone but the birds are not yet singing and the animals still hiding. You pull your trekking boots on and head out the gnarled door, leaving the heat of the lonely cabin behind. 

Save the faint caw of a crow from up in the canopy, the forest lay silent; Devil's Hill looms in the distance. Through crooked trees you go as the headache hits you and flashes from last night come flooding back; Hooded figures. Blood. The sacrifice! Through clenched teeth you gaze down at the compass in your hand. The needle spinning faster and faster. Anxiously, you look back for the cabin, but it's gone. Gone! Devil's Hill dominates where it once stood, only one way to go. 

Lush field recordings, detailed soundscapes and melancholic melodies drench this album in atmosphere. For lovers of high fidelity dark ambient.
