Treadmill is a record I wrote about my experience in the music industry. Almost none of y'all see behind the scenes of the music industry and all the lying and stealing that happens in it. I've dealt with countless promoters, blogs, DJs, & managers that promise to take your music to the next level and do nothin but take your money. I feel like I've worked so hard to get to where I am with not as much in return as I feel I deserve. Talking to Alex I realized this wasn't just about me and him. Treadmill is a record for anyone who feels they've been workin their ass off for something but some days feel like their not going anywhere - that your stuck on this endless treadmill. This is NOT a surrender record. This is a fuck you to whoever thinks you can stop us record. Remember that treadmills only make you stronger for the real race. Keep running.

"Tired" depicts what happens when emotional thoughts get mixed together with motivation. As I was writing this song, one could probably predict that I was stressed. Things weren't exactly going the way I was hoping they would go and I wasn't making music as much. Long story short, this track serves it's purpose for the people who are actually listening to my lyrics. One characteristic this song for sure doesn't lack is power. Everything I'm saying is directly from the heart, and that's one thing I think a lot of artists nowadays forget to do. To anybody out there working at something, I encourage you not to stop until you are completely satisfied with where your at. Don't let anybody step in the way of you and your goals.
