A MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO EDWARD PACKARD, MASTER OF ADVENTURES 

Edward Packard is the creator of the concept that gave birth to the book series "Choose Your Own Adventure". Author of over 50 books in the series that captivated the imagination of the world from 1978 to 1998. 

In these books the classic writing in the third person was replaced by the second person, "you". This novel premise broke the conventional role of the reader (passive and linear) and threw it to new horizons. 

A mysterious cave that communicates with different points of history. The acquisition of a supercomputer capable of performing wonders. Being abducted at latitude 54/40 by an alien race that inhabits a giant UFO. The descent into an underground kingdom lit by the Black Sun. 

These are some of the topics addressed in the magnificent Packard books. 

A man who marked the Juvenile literature forever.

Edward Packard es el creador del concepto que dio nacimiento a la mítica colección de libros "Elige tu propia aventura". Fue el autor de más de 50 libros de esta serie que cautivó la imaginación del mundo desde 1978 a 1998.

En estos libros la clásica escritura en tercera persona fue reemplazada por la segunda persona: "tú". Esta novedosa premisa rompía el rol convencional del lector (pasivo y lineal) y lo llevaba hacia nuevos horizontes.
 

Una misteriosa cueva que comunica con diferentes puntos de la historia de la humanidad. La adquisición de una supercomputadora capaz de realizar maravillas. Ser abducido en la latitud 54/40 por una raza extraterrestre que habita un gigantesco OVNI. El descenso hacia un Reino Subterráneo iluminado por el Sol Negro. 

Estos son algunos de los temas que se encuentran en los excelentes libros de Packard.

All the songs have been mixed at Tetsuo studio except “Brahma”: voice recorded and mixed by Cecco Cropcircle at Creative Fields studios.

The Penelopes - Never Let Me Down Again (Depeche Mode Cover)

The first ever collaboration between prolific american composer Tomas Phillips and prominent italian newcomer Luigi Turra, "Vignettes Amplifie" presents a sequence of subtle sound constructions characterized by minimalistic and contemplative approach. Quiet field recordings, soft acoustic sounds and organic electronic arrangements builds panoramic view on two levels. The acoustic gestures like bells, manipulated objects and drone fragments are coming from silence and disappearing after some time. On the other hand, there is a kind of reflection of these sonic events in the background, muted and abstracted, hiding from your ears. But these microscopic sounds, short and forgetful, seems to be the main part of the whole thing - when you are trying to trace them down, to catch your attention, and to understand the aesthetical value of this music.

In the year 2008 the documentary called “Psicofonías: Las Voces Desconocidas” was shot by the film director Jose Moral. This was about the voices of dead people where echoes of spirits leave us some footprint after death. Humankind has believed during a long time that it is possible to communicate with dead people. 
Over the years , seances, mediums and psychics have been possible instruments to make contact with the afterlife. So, EVP is an espiritual footprint and a communication link to the soundtrack in this documentary.
This one relies on some of the most important projects of the Dark Ambient Industrial music: In Slaughter Natives, which is a pioneer in the symphonic industrial field and part of the legendary label Cold Meat Industry. This music project is formed by Jouni Havukainen who carries out an outstanding and deep work full of aspects where in some parts we can listen the voices of dead people.
