Schallfeld is a German duo hailing not from Berlin but from Halle, one of the rising cities for electronic music in Germany. This double EP includes a Tram and a Transit, both with their own vibe but still connected in sound. The remixes come from Ouhana and Sarrelangue, two gifted musicians that already released with us last year and JoC H as newest family member.

Mick Wilson, August Artier Kisetsu Series Fuyu E.P.

Mick Wilson & August Artier, deliver their final release of the Kisetsu Series on RAWAX Digital - Fuyu EP, the fourth and final instalment in the series of four releases that make up the Kisetsu Series. This four track EP ends the sonic journey as heard during the last three outings, taking in a new level of finely crafted electronic sounds.

Vol IV of the Kisetsu Series delivers a bold selection of music that pushes out a sophisticated  delivery aligning itself to the delicate musical balance found in the last three releases Haru, Natsu and Aki. Fuyu offers a club leaning sound, with refined elements of a soundtrack that can be enjoyed via a variety of listening formats.

Fuyu is the defining EP, a collection of tracks that once again explore the deeper side of electronic house and techno, complex in its palette,  simple in its reference it marks the end of the journey, the conclusion of all four seasons.

A break from the convention of the previous EPs the tracks in Fuyu start with 13 and progress to 16 where the journey ends. The climax to the Kisetsu Series of which we invite the listener to experience.

DEC90 is formed by Ana Ballardin and Lele Griebler, a duo focused on live act that brings references from Progressive Rock and different Techno strands, bringing these two worlds together with lots of creativity, freedom and originality. They had already shown their work on Patterns VA I, released in August 2020, delivering the track “Queens Chamber”. We felt that there was a lot of potential there. Their identity carries an unique energy, with mystical touches and basslines always vibrant, which was very clear in this new work. Feeling In The Bones is officially their first EP ever released, an invitation to delve deep into the suspenseful melodic textures through three original tracks. The album opens with “Listening Inside”, a more reflective song that brings the message of looking inside and knowing yourself. “Feeling In The Bones” comes next with an undulating bass line followed by a guitar solo throughout the track, creating a strong enigmatic tone that reflects the feeling that something good is going to happen. Then, “Mirrored” closes the triad of original tracks and is undoubtedly the most intense on the EP, dissipating all the energy accumulated in the previous songs, carrying the subliminal message that everything is mirrored and that we are, on the outside, the reflection from our inside. To close the things out, with all his mastery, tarter delivers a remix for the title track in his best Minimal Techno style, stamping his name on Prototype once again.

Nickon Faith is a 23 year old up and coming producer from Manchester. Nickon has had music play a driving force for most of his life, and took to production at around 2015, building up a repertoire of lush melodic techno and progressive deep house productions as his signature genre. However, also touching on a variety of influences from the likes of breakbeat and industrial techno. Nickon Faith has been honing his craft over the years and has started sculpting a distinct sound for himself as a producer that marries atmosphere, ambience and energy in the form of lush progressive soundscapes, breakbeats and dense acid basslines.
