Better The Devil You Know

Here, where people come and go.
Last year I traveled to Barcelona, ​​a city that fascinated me with its art, its food, its people, its daily life, its warmth and its language.
I realized how beautiful it is to know the diversity of every people, and what they consider their normality, but it was also nice to see so many different cultures coming from thousands of other countries. 
So I wanted to create this song to describe the atmosphere of the city in its essence.

My first new song in a long time was written in collaboration with the great Ane Trolle, who also features on vocals. 
Ane Trolle has helped shaping the Danish - as well as the international musical - landscape over the last ten years, and her rough and vivid voice have reached a wide audience both through different collaborations and as a solo artist. You might know her voice from Trentemøller's hit ”Moan”. 

In the song we've taken elements of footwork/juke thrown into an electronic dream-pop universe, or maybe it's the other way round.

The artwork was done by the great Zven Balslev.

Season Two is the new compilation album from Loci Records, curated by downtempo favourite Emancipator. The collection is a wondrous explosion of vibrant sonic textures enriched with soulful and emotive pieces from notable Loci alumni artists, as well as several new additions, heralding what's to come from the label.
A contemporary look at where downtempo stands today in electronic music, Season Two weaves in and out of various flavours ranging from instrumental hip-hop, lo-fi beat, ambient IDM, left-field electronica, and more.

Edamame - Anonymous Ink

This is the debut EP by For The Horses, a collaboration between Gabe Lehner (9 Theory) and Becky Gebhardt from the band Raining Jane.  The idea to try creating music together with no expectations of what it should be resulted in these four songs.  The main element tying these all together is a focus on Becky's sitar playing, along with other organic instrumentation supported by lots of fun electronic synth sounds and groovy beats.
