This is my own transcription and interpretation of one of the best Christmas song (I cry when I hear it)..

Some passages of the song have been inspired to the Morricone's rearrangement in the film "The legend of the pianist on the ocean"...

Silent Night for piano solo

Here's my track realized for the Hans Zimmer's Bleeding Finger Contest. I'm so happy to share this little experiment with all my Soundcloud friends and in particular with "The Piano Cloud" FB community.

Just two words to explain: immediately I thought to use minor mode for my track and initially I wrote this track for piano solo, cause I didn't read I had to include "at least" one Hans Zimmer stem file. :D So I could solve this "great drama" just including Percussion stem file and orchestrating. Also if orchestration is not properly my field, I tried to do all the best I could.

No Destiny - Gian Marco La Serra - Bleeding Fingers Contest

....just few words, cause the music must not to be explained but simply listened...

This is the first track of my album "Piano Solo", entirely composed, recorded and produced by myself, and represents the result of my activity as piano composer.

"Piano Solo" was born between Rome and Porto Ercole and almost all of the pieces were composed in the Summer of 2013.

It's an experiment, an attempt to realize an artistic product, using just my own abilities, my knowledges....and my heart.

And all this, with the sublime sound of piano.

This single track is dedicated to my girlfriend Francesca Romana, which always supported and followed me since first notes of "Piano Solo" came to light...

"Il Mare" (the Italian for "the sea"), is a a contemplative solo piano song, in a contemporary and minimal style. It's inspired by Ludovico Einaudi's composition "Le Onde" (the waves), released in the same EP with it.
