The relationship between Circus Recordings and Kydus continues. Kydus music is in the boxes of every major dj around the world, staying underground but still appealing to a wider dynamic, djs as poles apart as Marco Carola & Carl Cox to Eric Prydz & Pete Tong are all supporters. 

Boomtang and My People are certain to follow the pattern of success from last summer's colossal (and still lingering) Transatlantic and What You Feel, and the previous summer's anthemic Free Spirit & Cala El Verano. As well as peppered releases on Glasgow Uunderground, Under No Illusion and Terminal M and collaborations with Yousef who's astounding Jupiter Rising is still connecting

Label owner Yousef has been hammering Boomtang and has been slipped it out a couple of his close friends, Carl Cox, Eats Everything, Patrick Topping, and some guy called Pete Tong, who are already massively behind it. Meanwhile My People sits at the fronts of the boxes of Steve Lawler and Hot Since 82 et al. A good start...

Kydus is rare talent, a seasoned DJ and a serious producer. He makes tracks that are cool enough for the underground but always effortlessly reach the spectrum of clubbers.

BEN RAU ANNOUNCES NEW META LABEL PROJECT IN STYLE, WITH RHYMOS’ ‘SEIZURE’ EP
Release Date: January 25th 
Fresh off the back of his most successful year yet, Ben Rau is in the perfect place to usher in the next generation of production talents , and so the vinyl only META is borne. With prior experience in label management coming via his own INKAL imprint, an outlet for Ben’s own productions , and with 4 represses on the first and second release respectively ,Ben is in prime position to lend his hand to a new breed of production and DJ talent.
Created with the aim of helping push those on the brink of becoming regulars on the leading labels and those most cult-associated as shining stars within the underground.
Rhymos steps up to inaugurate the imprint in a reliably bass and groove heavy style.
A sterling name within minimal house & techno, that has been bubbling on the horizon throughout 2017, with headline appearances including Fabric’s main room as part of WetYourSelf!, Rhymos’ ‘Seizure’ EP sets ablaze with the rolling subline of the title track, that is accompanied by shimmering hats, that are intertwined with intermittent fx and synth licks throughout. ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’ provides the perfect B-side, a more rough and ready approach that is mixed with ambient pads and spaced out stabs in the breakdown, which break the track up nicely.
True to form, Ben provides a deeper touch to ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’, while still maintaining its dancefloor credibility. Glistening highs hypnotic pads and minimal trademark glitch , blissful chords and delayed vocals permeate Ben’s remix ,
stripping the the track back to just its rumbling low end and drums after the break ensures the track slams and will whip even larger floors into a frenzy.

No.19 Music welcomes back long-time associate Louie Fresco for a first solo EP since 2014, with standout remixes from Bas Ibellini and Shaun Reeves making this another fantastic package.

Fresco debuted on this label in 2012, and since then has served up the essential Autophobia album in 2014 and two further EPs. After a couple of quiet years, the Mexican tastemaker is back with more of his hard to categorise house and tech tunes, once again bringing plenty of quality to the table.

Fantastic opener ‘Black Wax’ is a heavyweight deep house tune with swirling pads and edgy stabs. A muffled vocal adds an old school feel and this one really builds the mood nicely. 'Aliens (Black Wax Pt.2)’ is another super fresh offering, this time with a slinky, futuristic and upbeat tech feel that has a spaced out vibe and killer bassline. The excellent ‘Between Boroughs’ then layers up punchy broken beat patterns with romantic sax lines and crisp hits into a timeless house track perfect for intimate clubs who like their music to have a real sense of heart.

First to remix ‘Black Wax’ is Bas Ibellini, the Tuskegee and Crosstown Rebels artist and founder of the Peculiar party. His version is filled with subtle tension, leggy drums and deep looping bass that keeps on pulling you in as the pressure mounts. Last of all, Visionquest man, Detroit tastemaker and key underground figure Shaun Reeves reworks the same track into something superbly deep and horizontal, with echoing hits and distant, spooky pads bringing a heady, cosmic feel.

These are five first class house tracks with a real sense of style.

AVOTRE label boss Santé, returns with another stellar VA compilation, ‘Argentinian Heat’, to add to the imprint’s ongoing Heat series. 

Following 2015’s ‘Ibiza Heat’ and 2016’s ‘Italian Heat’, the most recent in the scouting series shines a light on some of the most exciting up-and-coming Argentinian talent. The 9-track compilation is set for release on May 1st via Santé’s AVOTRE imprint.

Driven by its off-beat cosmic synth lead, "Space Woman" from Brandub presents intricate riff detailing for an ambient and buoyant effect.

Gianluca Rattalino was born in Italy on the 23rd of January 1994.
At the age of ten he starts his musical career and already influenced by artists like Luciano, Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos and many more. He increases his musical knowledge and then he starts playing in some clubs of his city.
At the age of 17 he starts his musical production.
