One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਹੋਇ ਇਕਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਦੂਰਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ! ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠਿਆ ਕਰੋ, (ਉਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਸੁਰਤਿ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਮੇਰ-ਤੇਰ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ । 
Come and join together, O my Siblings of Destiny; dispel your sense of duality and let yourselves be lovingly absorbed in the Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੈ ਕੇ ਹੋਵਹੁ ਜੋੜੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੈਸਹੁ ਸਫਾ ਵਿਛਾਇ ॥੧॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਏ ਰਹਿਣਾ—ਇਹ ਚੌਪੜ ਦਾ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਵਿਛਾ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਟਿਕਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ, (ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ) ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਚੌਪੜ ਖੇਡਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਬਣਿਆ ਕਰੋ ।੧।
Let yourselves be joined to the Name of the Lord; become Gurmukh, spread out your mat, and sit down. ||1||

ਇਨ੍ਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਪਾਸਾ ਢਾਲਹੁ ਬੀਰ ॥
ਹੇ ਵੀਰ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਇਸ ਜੀਵਨ-ਖੇਡ ਵਿਚ) ਦਾਅ ਚਲਾਵੋ (ਪਾਸਾ ਸੁੱਟੋ) ।
In this way, throw the dice, O brothers.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਅੰਤ ਕਾਲਿ ਨਹ ਲਾਗੈ ਪੀਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਜੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ) ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਅਖ਼ੀਰਲੇ ਸਮੇ (ਜਮਾਂ ਦਾ) ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
As Gurmukh, chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord, day and night. At the very last moment, you shall not have to suffer in pain. ||1||Pause||

ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਚਉਪੜਿ ਸਾਜਹੁ ਸਤੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਸਾਰੀ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ! ਨੇਕ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀ ਚੌਪੜ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਬਣਾਵੋ, ਉੱਚੇ ਆਚਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਰਦ ਬਣਾਵੋ । 
Let righteous actions be your gameboard, and let the truth be your dice.

ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਜੀਤਹੁ ਐਸੀ ਖੇਲ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥੨॥
(ਇਸ ਨਰਦ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਤੁਸੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਕਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਭ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰੋ । ਹੇ ਵੀਰ! ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਖੇਡ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ (ਪਸੰਦ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ) ।੨।
Conquer sexual desire, anger, greed and worldly attachment; only such a game as this is dear to the Lord. ||2||

ਉਠਿ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਪਰਭਾਤੇ ਸੋਏ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੇ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ! ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ (ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਵਿਚ) ਚੁੱਭੀ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ, ਸੁੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਭੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹੋ ।
Rise in the early hours of the morning, and take your cleansing bath. Before you go to bed at night, remember to worship the Lord.

ਬਿਖੜੇ ਦਾਉ ਲੰਘਾਵੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਸੇਤੀ ਘਰਿ ਜਾਤੇ ॥੩॥
(ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹ ਉੱਦਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ) ਔਖੇ ਦਾਅ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਖ-ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।੩।
My True Guru will assist you, even on your most difficult moves; you shall reach your true home in celestial peace and poise. ||3||

ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਖੇਲੈ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਖੈ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਰਚਨੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ ॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—ਹੇ ਵੀਰ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ-ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਖੇਡ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ । ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ।
The Lord Himself plays, and He Himself watches; the Lord Himself created the creation.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜੋ ਨਰੁ ਖੇਲੈ ਸੋ ਜਿਣਿ ਬਾਜੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੯॥
ਇਥੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਖੇਡ) ਖੇਡਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇਹ ਬਾਜੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਦਰ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਹੈ ।੪।੧।੧੯।
O servant Nanak, that person who plays this game as Gurmukh, wins the game of life, and returns to his true home. ||4||1||19||
