'Low Tide' came out as a 'comeback' song, about being born on the edge of an era that turns back herself into another. Is about Art taking back people to themselves, suddenly waking them up by the hypnotic and whirlwind dreams of curiosity and wonder that come up when thrown into the world.

It's also a sight upon a feeling of eternity: humanity and History both apparently slowly flowing everyday alike to themselves. In this timeless prison, writing 'Low Tide' was like - rewinding a film or coming full circle, as the structure of the song suggests - an attempt to realise a personal, real change that actually everyday beauty in the world lead us to.

Tiziano Menghi ha origini romane, ed è cresciuto nell’iconico quartiere della Garbatella. È conosciuto da tutti come Gianni Bismark, nome d’arte ispirato al calciatore della Roma Gianni Guigou (Gianni Bismark Guigou Martínez) e si è affermato in poco tempo nella scena urban mostrando una capacità unica di mischiare i sound del settore con le atmosfere degli stornelli romani, spaziando in un mondo sonoro che va da Nas all’indie.

Gianni Bismark pubblica il suo primo mixtape nel 2015 con il titolo “Gianni Bismark Mixtape”, a cui l’anno dopo segue “Sesto Senso”. Il primo lavoro per Virgin Records/Universal Music Italia è del gennaio 2019, e arriva dopo diverse collaborazioni e cambi di rotta: si intitola “Re senza Corona”, un album legato agli stereotipi della trap e del rap contemporaneo, con contaminazioni dei classici della musica romana.
Un lavoro che è frutto di una ricerca personale di Gianni Bismark, guidata dall’apporto del produttore G Ferrari e degli Enemies, alle spalle dei fenomeni Ultimo e Mostro. Il lavoro viene apprezzato dal pubblico, e debutta nella Top20 dei dischi più venduti in Italia. Contiene collaborazioni con Dark Polo Gang, Ntò, Ketama126 e Pretty Solero. Gli estratti di successo sono “Gianni B”, “Pregiudicati” feat. IZI, “For Real” feat. DANI FAIV, e “Università” feat. Franco126, canzone che ha accumulato oltre 22 milioni di ascolti online e una certificazione Oro.

A marzo 2020 per Gianni Bismark è il momento del secondo album per Universal, “Nati Diversi”, che registra ad oggi più di 71 milioni di ascolti. Al suo debutto si piazza nella Top 5 dei dischi più venduti e ascoltati in digitale in Italia, con oltre 5 milioni di streaming in una settimana. Ben 9 tracce su 12 si sono posizionate nella Top 50 di Spotify Italia e nella Top 50 di Apple Music, anche grazie al fatto che intorno a Gianni Bismark si sono raccolti i grandi della scena rap italiana: 2nd roof, Chris Nolan, Drone126, Enemies, Franco126, Geolier, G Ferrari, Tedua, Sick Luke, Quentin40. Nella ri-edizione del progetto, dal titolo “Nati diversi: Ultima cena”, è incluso anche il duetto “C’hai ragione Tu” con Emma.
Nel 2021, dopo incessanti richieste dei fan, Gianni Bismark pubblica “DOCET: 2016-2017” che raccoglie 2 inediti e 12 brani autopubblicati tra il 2016 e il 2017, prima del successo nazionale. Le canzoni di Gianni Bismark fino a questo momento rimaste nel cassetto sono “Embè” e “Da un po’”, e nell’album si trovano anche Tony Effe, Pyrex e Wayne.

Il terzo e attesissimo album in uscita a marzo del 2022, si intitola “Bravi Ragazzi”. Disponibile in versione fisica nel formato cd autografato + t-shirt sullo shop Universal, vinile autografato per Discoteca Laziale, cd autografato e formato vinile in tutti i punti vendita.
Gli estratti dal nuovo progetto sono “C’avevo un amico” e “Febbre a Febbraio”. Il primo, prende ispirazione da un lutto che riporta Gianni a rincontrare la gente del quartiere, in un viaggio tra i ricordi del passato e il momento presente. Parla degli affetti che resistono al passare del tempo ed è scritto al fianco di Andrea Manusso e Matteo Nesi. La seconda canzone, intensa e avvolgente, vede la collaborazione di Gianni Bismark e LIL KVNEKI del duo Psicologi, per la produzione di Enemies.
