RELEASED 1/6/2015 VINYL - GIANT’S first release is from the south coast’s underground stalwart MARK ALLISTER. Giant is aiming to bring you a selection of older and up and coming producers who inspire and represent the sound of the label and mark fits that bill to a tee. Although he has been DJ’ing for over 20 years mark is just starting to venture out into producing, and what a way to start. Not only does Mark create, on NOT GOING BACK, what we would call, a proper old school Tech-House groove, he lays down his own vocal on it to.
 The release starts with marks original mix - which builds from crisp drum patterns into subtle lush swells over a dark sub lead bassline and then marks vocal drops right after the tripped out break, a sure fired dancefloor track.

Much in the same vein of the Mannheim house sound made popular by artists like Johnny D, Nick Curly, Christian Burkhardt etc..Brett's gives us a deep but driving track centered around an African boy singing. Brett chops the sample up to create a choir of ethereal voices to support the boy's singing. As the track progresses it takes a left turn into weirdville through some dramatic synth tweaks & sweeps. This track is perfect for anyone who likes to dance standing up, with their head down and first firmly in the air.

Adam is widely known for his work as one half of production duo – OMNI AM, along with Marky star and counts Derrick Carter and Evil Eddie Richards and a whole host of others, amongst their fans. Adam’s release for Giant is titled – DAY2DAY and has all the trademark’s of Adam’s wonky, left of field, slightly off kilter grooves – DAY2DAY builds and snakes itself into a bottom bass heavy House jam – Chicago style keys mould the snare and hats into an infectious work out – with an alien like hook that keeps it all slightly wobbly. The 12th Release from GIANT RECORDS is from BASEMENT UK – Abian Saavedra and Brando Morales are two young producers that hail from the Canary islands and both have a massive love and respect for the early UK HOUSE & GARAGE sound – hence their name. Their track – GANGSTA – lends itself to the above mentioned sound and could surely stand the test of time among those early classics and it reminds us of an early Grant Nelson Nice&Ripe groove, Wicked swinging drums and hats that all sit comfortably on a low sub bass and spoken word jam.

The next mix of GANGSTA is from long time Giant favorite TOM GILLIERON – Tom’s mix is dark and twisted with hidden layers that swell and grow through the track – his mix builds and builds with a subtle use of the original vocal which then turns into a trippy late night slice of dark magic – Tom’s sound is 100% on the button on this mix – EXCEPTIONAL !

The 13th release on GIANT is a various artists EP – this is VOL 1 and VOL 2 will follow later in the year. This EP features tracks from three exceptional new breed producers and one band who have been making waves for well over ten years now. This release joins up artists from across Europe and Russia. First up is CLAUDIO IACONO who hails from Italy. Then its PYSH who is from Poland  followed  by Russia’s ANTON LANSKI then last but no way least is Bulgaria’s BABYFACECLAN – The four tracks range from after hours deep techno to sublime deep house and BABYFACECLAN’S track has an Andy Weatherall flavour to it.
