A piece composed for my Final Year Project. Using the Bible verse John 3:16 for inspiration ("For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life"), it is part of a series of compositions examining the emotions surrounding a traditional Roman Catholic Requiem. 

Written for violin and piano, this is only a Sibelius 7 realisation - actual recordings/performance will differ massively!

John 3:16

A piece composed as part of my Final Year Project. Takes its inspiration from the bible verse Jonah 4:6 - "And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd."
