Playa Venao is one of my favorite places to play music in the whole world, maybe my favorite after Burning Man... 
This opportunity I had to play the soundtrack for one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen, allowed me to be soft, vulnerable and show a different side of myself. 
There was no need to push the vibe, no need to push the tempo, we could all just be together and feel... 
I hope you'll like this side of me,

Born in Peru, Lemurian is a prolific designer of frequencies who punctuates the present moment with the truth of sound. "Vor uns tauchte ein heller Lichtfleck auf, es war die Ausfahrt aus der Schlucht in die Ebene. Ein sanfter Wind wehte von dorther. Danijar sang wieder. ... Wenn ich doch das Lied Danijars auch nur annähernd wiedergeben könnte! Es hatte fast keinen Text, ohne Worte öffnete es die ganze weite menschliche Seele. ... Ich wusste nicht, wie ich das nennen sollte, und ich weiß es auch heute noch nicht, vielmehr ich kann nicht bestimmen, inwieweit das an der Stimme lag oder an etwas Wichtigerem, das unmittelbar aus dem Herzen quillt, das die Kraft hat, in anderen die gleiche Erregung auszulösen. ... Mir erschienen auf einmal all seine seltsamen Gewohnheiten, die bei den Leuten Unverständnis und Spott hervorriefen - seine Verträumtheit, seine Neigung zur Einsamkeit, seine Schweigsamkeit -, in einem anderen Licht. Ich wusste jetzt, warum er abendlang auf dem Wachthügel saß, warum er die Nächte einsam am Fluß verbrachte, warum er ständig nur ihm wahrnehmbaren Klängen nachlauschte und warum seine Augen zuweilen aufloderten und die Brauen sich plötzlich erwartungsvoll hoben. Das war ein Mensch, der eine tiefe Liebe in sich trug. Keine Liebe, das fühlte ich, wie man sie für einen anderen empfindet, sondern eine weit größere, die Liebe zum Leben, zur Erde. Ja, er verwahrte diese Liebe in sich, in seiner Musik, er lebte durch sie."

Angels,

It was a Saturday afternoon, after a full day of dancing and connection we found ourselves going crazy to the tribal beats of Lemurian in The Dark Side Of The Moon stage. We witnessed how he controlled the crowd in ways we can't explain, we saw an intense ball of energy grow exponentially with every second of his set. We danced like there was no tomorrow.

It was beautiful. It was magic. And we can't be more happy today to be sharing this gift with all of you.

As summer is slowly starting up we’re happy to provide you with a foretaste of a sensationally cool summer drink: Oceanvs Orientalis’ Summer Reign is perfectly crafted with only the freshest summer jams.  

Founded by Safak Oz Kutle, Oceanvs Orientalis is a formation which aims to challenge the aesthetic perception in electronic music.

A few years back, the Turkey born producer was not even in electronic music. Working as a graphic designer in Istanbul, he was using his housemate’s copy of Ableton to make symphonic tracks influenced by his love of world and classical music. The turning point came when he put a kick-drum beneath his productions. Since 2011 he performs as DJ and live act. 

And he recently founded his own label, Kanto Records, which he describes as an art collective without restrictions of a run-of-the-mill label companies.

Oceanvs Orientalis, tunes are not in a hurry. So aren’t we on a hot summer day. And so aren’t we sipping on this delicious Summer Reign! Bartender, we’re having another round!
