I have a dream - Mama Tzo

On Monday afternoon my camp Rise and I headed out for the first time on our artcar. Driving all across Burning Man for five hours was the perfect way to get a sense of the magnitude of this incredible spectacle. Besides my fellow Rise family more and more people hopped on the artcar. The vibe was incredible! And this ended up being one of my favourite memories of the week.

At one point we were cruising deep playa while the sun was setting. The artcar was super packed. Everything is covered in a smooth golden light. People dancing. People holding on to the car on their boards. People cruising along on their bikes. This was such a surreal and magical scene to experience. And int he back of our minds we were all realizing that this was only the first day. This was only the beginning of one of the most special weeks of our lives.

As it all happened very spontaneously, nothing was recorded, and so I decided to re-record part of this memorable journey and share it with you.

Special thanks to Rise for hosting me and for bringing the most incredible art experience to the playa.

Burning Man 2022 | Rise

Born in Peru, Lemurian is a prolific designer of frequencies who punctuates the present moment with the truth of sound. I’m thrilled to share this live set from Burning Man 2024, recorded at the magical Caravan of Light camp. This place is more than just a camp—it’s an esoteric sanctuary where art, mysticism, and music fuse into one. 

What made this set truly special was the incredible partnership with Mobius Acoustics, a custom-made sound system that’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever experienced on the playa. The clarity and depth of the sound transformed every beat into a powerful, immersive journey, resonating with the sacred energy of Black Rock City. 

This set reflects that magic—deep, groovy, and full of playa spirit. I hope it transports you to that mystical space as it did for me.

With beats starting at 107.77 BPM and building to 127.77, this set captures a surge of emotions and ends in a melodic burst of joy and passion. Playing from my heart on the Tanit stage "the goddess of fertility" at Sharamania Festival in the Sahara desert made this moment unforgettable. The sands, the sunset, the love - everything aligned. Grateful beyond words.

When it comes to fresh talent, Retrofract is without a doubt one of the top names in our roster. The British producer, based in Spain for a few years, has an outstanding ability for mixing oldschool nostalgic House melodies with sunkissed laid-back grooves, making waves on different labels as well as his own Retrofracted Records. We are so proud to host his most beach-friendly productions, this time with 2 tracks included on his 'Dreams Of Y2K' EP. 

The Original Mix is a delicious, smooth Chill House track, where a dreamy vocal flies over a catchy piano loop that immediately catches your attention. The B-Side is a secret gem, as we are re-releasing his track 'Got To Happen' alongside Lucia Silvestro and Mikka Bouzu. A downtempo journey, with a strong balearic influence on its relaxed drums and warm bass proving once again that when a talented producer meets the right musicians, only magic can happen.

On the remix duties, Deephope returns home elevating the title track to a new Deep House landscape. A more hypnotic bassline and synthy melodies takes the original track on a more early dancefloor territory, balancing this release smoothly showcasing the big variety on the music we love.
