UNFUG drops his first full album with us tomorrow exclusive to Beatport "The Deep Sea And Its Rivals" is a journey through the relationship UNFUG holds with the briny depths that he grew up around.

What is this mischief here? Good question, next question! Growing-up in the north of the German republic, it started with electric music (so the one with loud guitars, frontmen without shirts and evil looks), leading to the first attempts to put the string sound on top of a four-to-the-floor beat and then in the end of 2012 it became somehow his own electric/electronic sound. But this one is sometimes as obscure as the fog over the Kiel fjord at half past 4! Influenced by everything that happened structurally and soundwise in the main stream and beside it for the last 40 years and always focused to blend a bunch of analog and digital sounds in a big pot, he slowly forms a music to which you can actually just proclaim this: full-blown Unfug!

Pilofre returns to Gibbon Records with his latest work "Time". An upbeat tech track with hits of 90's progressive house. Ticking clock FX and a luscious vocal stab layered over floor stomping beats and a bassline to die for make this a track to fill any floor with ease.
On remix duties are UNFUG who brings us his deep melodic techno take on the original. New to Gibbon Conion brings his personal touch of tech house to the table and finally the package is rounded off nicely by Gibbonman himself; Benwaa, who turns in a lovely deep house number perfect for those afterhours we all love!

4 fantastic takes on the original by new and emerging talent on Gibbon Records. Heading up the remixes is Baxter, who delivers a more driving take on the original yet maintains the deep house vibe.
Next up is Fam Riot who brings us inimitable style of techno fused with emotion. Melodic and deep laced with fx and quirky synth lines too.
Following on we have a groovey deep tech house vibed take from Mnot, playing on the drums and piano riff perfectly, this is fitting for late nights or early doors.
Finishing up this wonderful release is none other than UNFUG, giving us his trademark melodic techno inspiration and version, taking things very deep and beautiful indeed.
All four tracks do compliment the original really well.

UNFUG - Angst

An EP featuring the sounds of beautiful melodic techno. We present to you Unfug with his deep and emotive track 'Trofast' deep, brooding melancholic yet smooth and hopeful at the same time, Unfug takes us on a nice journey of distant guitars laid over deep electronic percussion and FX.
Wolfgang Thums turns in his take on this and gives us a lesson in true electronica style. Taking the hopeful yet distant vibe of the original, he weaves a trip full of emotional turns and twists. One for the true connoisseur of music as well as dancing.
On the flip-side of things we present to you Drivepitcher, and his original track 'Schweben'. A melodic techno track aimed squarely at the dark and deep dancefloor of the late twisted night. Trumpeting melodies entwined with dark and pulsing vocal pads and subtle chord progression layered in too this really is a track that will be a focal point in any set.
Bootleg Ben finishes things up with his vision of 'Scchweben', and in tru Bootleg Ben style he takes things into warmer and more rounded feeling territory whilst managing to maintain the heaviness of the original. Later developing into a groove and twisted almost psychedelic territory that is guaranteed to get people not only moving but onto the floor too.

GIBFREE012: UNFUG - Las Brujas [Free Download]

Head Gibbonman Benwaa returns to releasing with his latest EP - Generate To Innovate. The Title track is a techy melodic number, deep in nature and twisting in its turns. The layers of simplistic pads set the background for a melodic journey made up of beautifully crafted sonic clicks and almost bell like tones that lead us into a serious feeling breakdown which brings an almost uplifting feeling from the duskiness we started from.
Bootleg Ben ever the purveyor of psychedelic sounds, brings exactly that to the table. With a reflection of the glitch tones and clicky melody he creates a more deep groove whilst keeping things on a more simplistic and even keel sonically, adding a vocal touch that sets this version off nicely.
Next up UNFUG brings his trademark sound of organ like pads and live played guitars to the table. Drawing out the melancholy from deep within the original to the fore, this contemporary feeling is just a beautiful piece of deep house set against wonderful hand percussion whilst getting deeper and deeper as the track progresses.
Finishing off the EP is another track from Benwaa. The Confliction Of Ego starts off in an almost techno fashion only for us to be led down the path of distraction by lushous building pads into an almost ethereal piano line to die for that can only bring us to a contemplative mood.

GIB022 : Benwaa - Generate To Innovate (Unfug Remix)

Ab+3 - Lighthouse originally appeared on our 2015 Summer Compilation. Such as the response we just had to do something more with it.
Bootleg Ben starts us off and takes us down the path of sowed don, laid back deepness, with a hint of that psychedelic sounds we're accustomed to from Ben. Bring out the melodious nature of the vocal in his instrumentation Ben creates a sublime feel to the track.
Luke Garcia is up next and boy does he deliver us something special. Throbbing techno bassline and percussion all combined to grace us with a very serious floor killer that not only reflects the original but really shows what Luke is all about in his sets too.
Unfug brings to the table his unique and trademark style. starting off in relaxed territory with lovely hand percussion that eventually leads us to a more intense and heavy vibe layered with guitars and pads.
Finishing up is remix competition winner Alex Bayer, who shows us a glimpse of the future with his forward looking take. Glitched out and FX'd percussion set against and drums and a boomy bass, this deep tech house version is a delight and shows exactly why he's earned his release with such skills.

DJ Sedatophobia graces us with a two track EP of lovely grooving Deepness. Gentile starts us off with a deep grooving yet atmospheric track perfect for those warm up sets or deep moments in the middle of the clubbing night. Following this up is Time Goes By, a more direct, yet still deep Tech House number that's guaranteed to fill any floor and is perfect for any warm up set.
Unfug brings us the first of the two remixes of the package with his interpretation of Gentile. Providing us with an even deeper take on the original and adds his own sound that is unmistakable.
Blitz & Planck bring us a driving, moving and floor filling beauty of a remix of Time Goes By. Its a cross genre satisfier, able to fill pretty much most styles of contemporary sets.
