comin down the boardealk of a shattered mind and a heart that sees only blue
taking my picture with a b list star who drowns himself out with booze
consious of the zoo that roams and the collared animals work till death
as i watch i cant help but to think that one day im probably joining the rest

testings the waters
cold like the air around
a smoked love corrupts us
as we never found the cure itself
drinkings a culture
that no one can escape when
liquors one the corner stones 
that surround the palace we wont come down

talking up the regulars in the bar 
distract me from feeling alone
these pills that i take they bar me from
drinking away the sound
climbing up a ladder that everyones on
it’s shaking more and more each time
the metal starts to bend as it feels like no one
will reach the top anymore
