A year after the release of his debut full-length album, Omens & Artifacts, KEY-G returns to Desert Trax. With a high-energy, sprawling album, “EP” is hardly an appropriate term for a collection of songs, each more than 7 minutes and some topping out around 12 minutes, which gives Curled Up Dimensions a double album feel.

“Half of Nothing” propels the listener into the album with a psystep sound and a double time beat. Fans of Birds of Paradise will get their midtempo fix on “Quantum Strikes.” The title track gets into the Ott zone with a dubby feel, and “Unleashing the Forces Within” stays in the dub realm, but soars as an uplifting gem. The lone collaboration on the album is “Pinpricks of Light” which returns to the hard-hitting psybreaks realm. “Ascension Upgrade” truly tickles the Shpongle fans who demands an extra helping of bass.

Curled Up Dimensions is out November 30 on Desert Trax.

KEY - G - An Ocean Of Pure Vibration

A project unlike any other comes to Desert Trax this fall. Between 2009 and 2012, psychedelic bass producer Twin Shape created but left unfinished three songs that tied him inextricably to a certain time and place. As the years went on, these pieces remained rough and untouched, until he sought the help of three fellow producers to help him complete these songs.
The result is the 'Auxiliatus' EP. From the Latin to support, Alterra, Shwamp , and COAM stepped in to give Twin Shape distance, perspective, and help to revisit these original creations and give them a contemporary feel on Seeded, D&N and Glimpse, respectively. Three tightly wound compositions that have spanned nearly a decade since their inception now come to life with throbbing low end and alien implications. A strong recommendation for fans of Bird of Prey, Phutureprimitive, and Ott.

Standout Desert Trax contributor Key-G steps in for a remix of the Alterra collab, Seeded, to round out this 4-track set. The Auxiliatus EP is finally available September 13th.

	Tyler (Gibson) is popularly known for being one half of the futuristic world-electronic duo, 'Birds of Paradise'.  With over a decade of producing, his creations are masterful in quality and vision.  His music is capable of enhancing and creating psychedelic states and effortlessly guiding the mind and soul through space and time.  
	His music features dynamic voyages that spin us through the cosmos. Experimental, and pulling ideas and techniques from many genres, the production quality of the individual sounds is something special, drawing listeners in with compellingly beautiful and mysterious tones. Wizard music for the 21st Century, it conjures images of ancient rites and dire space battles. Added narrative and ambitious melodies will carry these atmospheric beats to new levels.
