Concept
Ghosts of My Stolen Dreams is the first true “realm” the protagonist enters inside the Abyss.
After drifting through Apparitions, he steps into a place where every dream he abandoned… every version of himself that could have existed… still lingers like an echo.
These aren’t memories.
They’re shadows of futures that never came to be — unfinished selves, watching him with hollow eyes.
It’s the most emotional and introspective layer of the Abyss.
Sound & Atmosphere
The track blends melancholy metal with cinematic ghost tones:
Soft, shimmering guitars like distant stars trapped in fog
Low drones pulsing like slow, broken heartbeats
Whispery textures that feel like voices just out of reach
A sad, rising chorus full of regret and longing
Heavy emotional weight without overwhelming aggression
It’s haunting, tragic, and quietly beautiful — the sound of confronting everything you never became.
Visual Concept
The cover depicts a lone man surrounded by pale, spectral figures —
each one a ghost of who he might have been.
Silent. Expressionless. Half-formed.
Lit from above by a column of cold volumetric light.
They do not threaten him.
They do not comfort him.
They simply exist, reminding him of every dream that slipped through his fingers.
