Berlin based singer-songwriter Aka Kelzz and Sardinian producer Two Thou team up for a studio project essentially made of drums and vocals.

The two musicians are working on music that is groove led and voice lit, with the mood of it creating a blend of vibrant colours and movement.

The release is titled Never Lose, arranged with D.Sahin and performed with the help of Charlotte Colace and Allysa Grace.
Never Lose is about clash and contradiction surrounding the topic of independence of choice, competition and authenticity.

Gifted Culture collective kicks off with Zinnigheddas Jam Berlin, first 12” of a series of three releases recorded exclusively during improvised jam sessions. Gifted Culture wants artists to breath and to represent in music the contemporaneity that surrounds us. Gifted Culture catches that very moment on tape.

During this first session Two Thou, Autre, Xinner and Demo gather together during a Sunday night in Kreuzberg with an electric bass and a bunch of synthesizers. There they start to tell us how they feel the “now”.

Maksim Panfilov, infamous Russian deejay active since late nineties until today, gives a contribute to Gifted Culture with his fixation for Arthur Russell, no intruduction needed for him. About Maksim, other than exhaustive mixes of diverse genres from club music to electro to ambient, he’s also witnessing musicians with great pictures. This is a sunny mix.

GMI  Jam  Venice  comes  from  the  filth  and  the  mug  of  the  abandoned  ex-industrial  area  in  the  outskirts  of  Venice.  There,  Autre  and  Two  Thou  invade  Hawaiian  Chips’  top-notch  studio,  where  all  together  ride  70’s  synthesizer  rarities  and  try  to  domesticate  the  monstrous  Yamaha  CS  80.  This  jam,  inspired  by  the  post-industrial  Venetian  scenario,  dives  between  the  dreams  of  archetypal  electronic  music  and  reminiscences  of  psychedelic  progressive  bands,  giving  birth  to  two  long  journeys  ready  to  gently  carry  the  dance  floor  into  the  outer  space.

Luca Roccatagliati is a deejay and producer from Italy that goes by the name of DJ Rocca. He's very active in the disco scene with top notch artists such as Dimitri From Paris or the mighty Daniele Baldelli. We know Rocca because in the early 2000 he brought awesome drum & bass at Maffia club, in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Gifted Culture Fixation 08: DJ Rocca plays Patrice Rushen

Gifted Culture reveals the last EP of the trilogy featuring the three improvised jam sessions of the collective. This time the ghetto beat maker Christopher Rau joins the crew in Berlin Mitte. Christopher, Autre and Two Thou start diving into slow, detached dreamy atmospheres eventually exploding into frenetic floor killer breaks. The music recorded in the session represent the perpetual dialog between the artists, resulting in an eclectic and variegate piece of music.

Here, electronic visionary artists as Afrikan Sciences (@afrikan-sciences)and Juju & Jordash (@jujujordash)meet cross over jazz bands like Hobby Horse (@hobbyhorsejazz)and Where is Mr. R?!.
The music is compiled by Autre (@autre) & Two Thou (@2000), bringing their own productions to bridge different moods. The result is a synergistic leap away from the music of genre.

Afrikan Sciences
 
New York based Afrikan Sciences (Eric Douglas Porter) is one of the most expansive and intensive musical torch bearers of modern experimental composition and jazz. Triumphing over the limitations of electronic composition he constantly explores new expressions in modern rhythmic music.
 
Juju & Jordash
 
Juju & Jordash found one another through weekly be-bop jams back in the mid 90s, with Juju on guitar and Jordash on piano. Throughout the 1990s, each played in and composed for various jazz and experimental combos by day and, by the cover of night, danced.. Now the approach the crowd with fully improvised hardware live shows that became a key performance in the electronic music panorama. 
 
 
Hobby Horse
 
Ten years into their strange musical voyage, collective trio Hobby Horse (USA/IT) shows no sign of breaking stride.  Their chaotic approach to mixing musical languages always ends up seeming to make perfect sense in hindsight, despite being littered with outrageous stylistic pairings, executed with reckless abandon.

Ticket to Home is the work of Kae, Two Thou, and Autre. They composed the music while in Venice, and now 8 years later they are living in Berlin. This music has been resting in Two Thou's hard drive for too long, so we decided to release it to the world and tell its story.

The record is a collection of mesmerizing, post-RnB, moody 80s atmospheres, inspired by love and recorded during long night sessions in a studio in Venice, Italy.

Gathering Gilles Peterson appreciacion with its vision from the start, the collective celebrates the focus on improvisational music, as well as promoting a leap away from music of genre.

The collective saw participation of Juju & Jordash, African Sciences, Christopher Rau, Xinner, Ma Spaventi, Hobby Horse, Where is Mr. R ?!, Eric Demuro. Their own selector night Modern Choir based in Berlin hosted Simona Faraone, The Neighbourhood Character, Panama Keys (half of Stump Valley), Marco Celeri.

While growing the collective, Autre & Two Thou keep their own solo journeys on ESP, Uzuri and other record labels both in Europe and US.
