This man has been a big influence in my musical journey.  Back in 1984, when I was 13 years old, Egypt Egypt was one of the greatest songs I've heard in my life.  I always try to include what I call the Egyptian Lover kisses in my productions, which come to find out, it was a mistake when he made Egypt Egypt in the studio. The sound engineer plugged in a 1/4 plug in the wrong port on the TR-808 and it made the unique Egyptian Lover sound. The Egyptian Lover owns this sound and every time I hear it in other producers productions I remember Egypt Egypt. Much love and respect to the Egyptian Lover. The King of the 808!
