After joining forces for the ‘Giga Streets’ EP back in 2016, Black Athena feel blessed to welcome the return of the immense Giganta to the stable, with the release of her highly emotional ‘Forever’ EP. The neon-clad amazon of the ancient city’s south side puts away her usual sonic weapons of choice for the first half of the EP, adopting a mellower more reflective trope. She weaves two subaquatic masterpieces in  ‘Forever’ and ‘Otherworld’; both pieces managing to feel eerily uneasy while somehow warmly peaceful and oh so soothing at the same time; offbeat goosebump-inducing songs of a siren sinking into a purple ocean of sound. For the second half as she slowly enters the light she composes ‘This Is Real’ a broken-balearic anthem with a pinch of late 80s Chi-town bass. Sweet, golden rays continue to pierce ‘VS’ an abstract, electro anthem rooted deeply in the discotheque! Giganta you’ve got a hit!

Moxie Presents Volume Two Sampler is the first physical release from Moxie's compilation series of the same name on her newly conceived 'On Loop' imprint. The compilation was released for free via Moxie's Soundcloud page in January 2016, and was met with rave reviews and radio support from the likes of Benji B, Gilles Peterson, Annie Mac and Toddla T. 

This sampler features 3 tracks taken from the compilation and an exclusive Dub of Medlar's 'In Dreams,' the original of which was a highlight on the compilation.

Sextape explores the possibilities of a new aesthetics of pornography in a digital era. In this work, the composition of intricate bodies, shapes, textures, colors and sounds takes over intercourse in itself. Pleasure becomes pure visual and sound.
Sextape gives rise to ambiguity, too explicit to be erotic but not enough to reach pornography.

“Giganta” is a music producer and sound designer based in Athens, creating electronic genre bending sounds for over a decade now, ranging from dancefloor tracks, to experimental electronic beats.
Her sonic journey began with the release of her debut EP on Werkdiscs/Ninja Tune, followed by track releases on esteemed labels like OnLoop and Black Athena.
An alumna of the legendary Red Bull Music Academy, her sonic fingerprints can be found in the captivating soundscapes she has designed for animations and art projects, collaborating with visionaries such as Margot Bowman and Graphset.
Her eclectic sounds have resonated globally, gracing the playlists of NPR Music, NTS Radio, Rinse FM, Dummy Magazine, and Crack Magazine. 
As a resident at Athens radio collective "Stegi radio," Giganta hosts the "Big Up" show, shining a spotlight on underground artists and contributing to the city's vibrant music scene.
