Till We Fall Asleep

Another song finished, another door closed and I am sooo proud of this. Everytime I record a new track I need it to be better than my previous projects.Working on this song was the hardest thing after the Emptiness Of Years Bygone, because the blues harmonies are pretty damn complicated, so it took me a lot of time to make this sound like an impovisation. And it sounds almost like I've been playing jazz on piano since I was four   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


In 2011 I wrote this melody and noticed that it sounds like Final Fantasy 8 soundtrack (Martial Law, Under Her Control songs) but back then I realized that I cannot accomplish such an idea with my current experience/skill/mood, so I put it on a shell thinking "One day I will finish you", and a couple of weeks ago I found this project and realized that the time has come. I've a good computer, good headphones, good ears and enough experience to do this.

It's probably the only "fan" song I've ever written/recorded/mixed/mastered so I am very happy to associate my song with a part of my fanboying. I felt like writing another soundtrack for Deling City from Final Fantasy VIII, which I highly enjoyed during the game. Which also made my balls sweat cause I stuck doing the assasination mission -_-

It's time I went back to this place and tried to deliever the same vibe and add new colors to the original soundtrack. 
I had a lot of space in this genre and I put as much in this music as possible: it's groovy, it's powerful, it's playful, it's serious, it's gentle, it's atmospheric. At least 30 renders to make sure every second of this song sounds just way I want it.

I hope FF fans would like it as much as I do as a listener.
