On the 14th of August I played a Drum & Bass Freestyle set at Bubblers in Amsterdam. It was my first ever freestyle at a gig as I arrived back from a holidays abroad that same evening! O yeah, sidenote, I was pretty drunk lol. 

Don't expect a flawless set, but considering the circumstances I just can't believe how it turned out. One of the best nights of my life by far!

One of the most kind-hearted and lovely individuals whom I have had the pleasure of meeting recently. I have gotten to know her as a true hype-woman who never fails to lift the spirits around her. Starting as a producer in 2021 and working her way up, she has many side  projects and is ready to bring her sound to the world.

In July 2022, she founded FLUX/X together with six other passionate female DJs in the Drum & Bass world. FLUX/X is a DJ collective for female and non-binary DJs to help each other progress and succeed. With many individual and collective performances coming up, FLUX/X is a promising collective for the future!

Livitz // MC Chuck - #S02E10

Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Nymfo (Bardo Camp) is a veteran in the Drum & Bass scene, known for his dynamic sets and finely crafted productions. Rising to fame as part of the iconic Red Zone crew, Nymfo’s career took off in 2007 with releases on Shogun Ltd, Renegade Hardware, and Critical, followed by tracks on Metalheadz, CIA, and 31 Records. His collaboration with Icicle, “Franky Mountain,” earned a coveted spot on RAM Records’ Dimensions 3 EP, solidifying his reputation for dancefloor-ready anthems.

In 2012, Nymfo released his debut album Characters on 
Commercial Suicide, and his prolific output has since spanned premier labels like Dispatch, Spearhead, and CIA. Notable highlights include a collaboration with Black Sun Empire on RAM Records and a venture into multi-genre territory with Barong Family. His sophomore album, Pictures on Silence, released on Dispatch in 2019, showcases his versatility and evolution as an artist.

A seasoned performer, Nymfo has graced major festivals such as Lowlands, Outlook, Sun & Bass, and Audioriver, while maintaining his roots in intimate club settings. With years of experience and a tireless work ethic, Nymfo remains one of Drum & Bass’s most respected and versatile figures.

Nymfo [Love For Low Frequencies] - #S03E03

Curious Mind is an up-and-coming producer and DJ based in the Netherlands. Beginning his music journey in 2019, Curious Mind started producing hip-hop beats.  However, his passion for electronic dance music eventually led him to switch up his style, developing his unique sound within the Drum & Bass genre. Guido participated in Ruud van Rijen’s (founder and producer of Twenty4Seven) producer program to develop his career and perfect his craft as an artist/producer. While having adopted all the valuable lessons of his mentor, Curious Mind has already signed with labels like; DnB Allstars, Liquicity, Hexagon, SKINK, Yosh Bass, and CHARGE Records with many more releases to come. In addition, Curious Mind has received support from the biggest names in the Drum & Bass scene (Sub Focus, 1991 & Primate) so he definitely is one to keep an eye on!

Curious Mind - #S03E12

Dutch producer, DJ, and musician TER3NCE (21) brings a fresh twist to the classic Drum & Bass sound. Based in Utrecht, he blends nostalgic influences with a modern edge, emotive, powerful, and dancefloor-ready.


With releases on respected labels like Love For Low Frequencies, Yamatai Records, Stellar Audio, Fokuz, and In The Lab, TER3NCE is quickly making his mark. His upcoming Talkative EP is already gaining traction with support from UKF, Data Transmission, and Free From Sleep. Recent tracks like Emotion Control (with Nymfo & Lian Feldd) and the Possession EP have earned global recognition from names like Black Sun Empire, Waeys, and Rueben.
Inspired by artists such as Netsky, Ed Rush, Noisia, and even Radiohead, TER3NCE aims to revive the sound he grew up with: emotional, nostalgic, but sharper than ever.

Edlan is one of the standout names in the new wave of liquid drum and bass. Since stepping into the scene in 2016, the Amsterdam-born producer has been turning heads with his dreamy, emotional sound. With early support and mentorship from Nymfo and releases on labels like Liquicity, Fokuz, and Pilot, it wasn’t long before tracks like “Dreamcatcher” and “Whatever You Said” racked up millions of streams and earned him spots at major festivals like Liquicity and Rampage Open Air.

But Edlan’s sound hasn’t stayed in one lane. While his roots are in liquid, he’s always exploring. Lately, he’s been blending deeper, more underground textures with vocal-driven productions that connect with big crowds and bring out real emotion. His label ATNMY has become a space for that creative freedom to thrive.

Whether he’s behind the decks or in the studio, Edlan brings a sense of surprise and sincerity. His music is full of feeling, and it’s that emotional depth that’s caught the attention of names like Hybrid Minds, Etherwood, GLXY, and Pola & Bryson. Edlan doesn’t just produce tracks: he tells stories you want to get lost in.

This week on the podcast, we’re joined by Lévi, better known as El Maria. He is one of the lead bookers at Melkweg, Amsterdam’s iconic venue and a powerhouse in European club culture. With a sharp ear for talent and a deep love for electronic music, Lévi curates cutting-edge club nights that shape the city’s sonic landscape.

Outside of Melkweg, he advises for Utrecht’s Kabul à GoGo and spends his spare time spinning jungle and drum & bass on vinyl. Elosa is a Belgian-born, The Hague-based DJ who crafts dreamy, feel-good sets that offer a break from reality. Blending smooth basslines with infectious rhythms, she creates an atmosphere that lingers long after the music stops. Whether opening the night or closing it down, her track selections are guided by emotion, groove, and a deep love for sound. After an unforgettable debut at Liquicity Festival 2024, with a return lined up for this year, Elosa is steadily building her name in the scene. She’s already taken her sound beyond borders with a recent show in Germany, and continues to shape immersive moments both in the Netherlands and abroad.
