Last Spring, @tsunimanmusic had the opportunity to share the booth with @x-wave9 at the Berlin-based party @crudeberlin, an event showcasing fresh talents emerging from a mixture of different scenes and genres, focusing mainly on new and old psytrance. The duo played the dreamiest Goa that night, an obvious sign that they'd be invited to guest on PLASMA at some point.

With a certain talent for venturing where we don’t expect them, the X-Wave duo manipulates trance in all its forms and strives to break down the barriers between genres, like psychedelic explorers searching for new vibrations.
  A podcast series launched by @djsueur & @gtidj at the end of 2018 and broadcast every last Saturday of the month on the web radio DY10, X-Wave has quickly become an unmissable event for lovers of the genre. A catalyser for hybrid sound experiences, through which they share their own vision of dance music, mainly focused on old-school trance.
  In a perfect alchemy between goa, psy, prog & acid, the Nantes-based duo fuses all its textures to create a retro-futuristic universe, with an epically complex and immersive sound design. Danca und Benni waren zwei leidenschaftliche Musikliebhaber, die ihre Freude am Tanzen und an elektronischer Musik teilten. An einem regnerischen Nachmittag beschlossen sie, sich in ihrem Zimmer eine Auszeit zu gönnen und ihre eigene kleine Party zu starten.

Die beiden zogen die Vorhänge zu, ließen die bunten Lichter ihrer LED-Lampen erstrahlen und begannen, sich zu den pulsierenden Beats ihrer Lieblingsmusik zu bewegen. Das Zimmer wurde zu ihrem privaten Tanzfloor, und sie tanzten ausgelassen und voller Energie.

Während sie sich im Takt der Musik wiegten, entstand zwischen ihnen eine Idee. Warum nicht ihre Begeisterung für die Musik mit anderen teilen? Die Idee reifte, und sie beschlossen kurzerhand, als DJs aufzulegen und ihre Leidenschaft nach draußen zu bringen.

Die beiden Freunde machten sich auf den Weg zu einem bekannten Ort namens "Bushbash," einem geheimen Rave mitten im Wald. Als sie dort ankamen, spürten sie die pulsierende Energie der Menschenmenge und die verlockenden Klänge der Musik, die bereits in der Luft lag.

Mit ihrer mitgebrachten Musik betraten Danca und Benni die Szene. Sie wurden von der Gemeinschaft herzlich empfangen die bereits ersehnt darauf wartete die Symbiose ihres Sounds zu erleben. Begeistert, und mit voller Energie, legten sie ihre Lieblingstracks auf, mischten die Beats und schufen eine elektronische Symphonie, die durch die Baumkronen des Waldes schallte.

Die Menschen um sie herum tanzten und feierten, als ob der Wald zum Leben erwacht wäre. Unter dem klaren Sternenhimmel entfalteten Danca und Benni ihre kreativen Fähigkeiten und schenkten der Menge eine Nacht voller pulsierender Rhythmen.

Die Sonne ging langsam auf, als Danca und Benni ihren letzten Track spielten. Erschöpft, aber erfüllt von der gemeinsamen Erfahrung, verabschiedeten sie sich von der Bushbash-Familie. Mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen und dem Wissen, dass sie ihre Liebe zur Musik geteilt hatten, kehrten sie zurück in ihr Zimmer, wo ihre Reise als DJs begonnen hatte.


Ganz so traumhaft wie in ChatGPTs vorstellungen war es leider am Ende dann aber doch nicht. Punkt 1 Uhr nachts wurde der Rave von unseren Freunden von der Polizei spektakulär beendet, alle haben gemeinsam die Veranstaltung abgebaut und Tobi wurde mit Spanngurten an einen Baum gebunden bis Getränkemarken aus ihm rausgefallen sind. Im Morgengrauen wurde der frisch gesäuberte Wald müde und ausgelaugt verlassen.
Beim nächsten mal haben wir hoffentlich mehr Glück :)

ANNSEL ist eine female DJ aus Weimar und steht in der Regel für harten kompromisslosen Techno Sound, der stark durch die französische Spielart des Hardstyle Techno beeinflusst ist. Für diesen Podcast hat sie sich von neuen Melodien inspirieren lassen. Der Sound von Groove und Dub Techno setzt sich zu einem flotten Rhythmischen Set zusammen. Dabei bringt sie so manche zum Flattern und sorgt für heiße Stimmung.

By anyone's standards, KI/KI has had a meteoric rise. She started DJing at queer party SPIELRAUM in Amsterdam in 2018, and by now she's one of Europe's most-talked about DJs. She blends modern strands of techno with trance and acid in a way that feels all her own, veering away from the sugar highs of other DJs or the clobbering kick drums of so much fast dance music. Her style is aerodynamic and sleek, not bludgeoning.

In addition to her DJ career, KI/KI runs the label slash, which has put out music from the likes of Alpha Tracks, Peachlyfe and Newa, artists who share her canny blend of trance and techno aesthetics and sneaky pop sensibilities. Acid is another big love, as shown by her 5HRS OF ACID concept. The decades-old sound has become a key part of her style and appeal, as you'll hear on her RA Podcast. It's a barreling 90 minutes through techno and trance with trap and dubstep accents, breathless but perfectly paced.
