Without Ellen, Berlin’s vibrant club landscape wouldn’t be the same. Her new EP 'High' is the first material since 2014’s 'Freak EP'. 'High‘ is a 11-minute trip dedicated to the dancing crowd. Everything about this track is subtle and hypnotic, from the pushing bass to the powerful ascending soundscapes to the lead vocal line.

With their debut single ‘Get Real’ included on a feature last year by Resident Advisor, and a recent remix on Pablo Bolivar’s house and techno imprint, ‘Seven Villas’, Haider Uppal and Lost Boy team up as a duo in 2025.

For them, house music is a way to stay rooted within their shared cultural heritage. Built through the sonic textures and emotions borrowed from their roots, they reinterpret South Asian beats through an electronic framework.

Their research focused thematic EP weaves together archives of raags, sitar motifs, and poetic rhythms. One of the tracks samples a raag once performed live by Ravi Shankar in 1974, but its tone and phrasing were reshaped to create something magical yet simple, letting the Sitar evoke emotion. The B-side by Lost Boy weaves in recordings of the great singer Mehdi Hassan into a sonic journey which resonates emotionally. The two songs were meant to be packaged together. Rounding the release is a bonus track from them which fits melodic dancefloors around the world.

Haider and Lost Boy focus to reshape how electronic music connects with South Asian culture through their body of work.

The ancient haruspex used to read chicken liver in a bid to predict the future and foresee natural disasters. Taking influence from this technic, Fango embarked on a long insular trip, reflecting down till the depths of his own soul. The outcome of this arcane ritual is "Viscera", a series of 3 EP's focused on the pure essence of Fango’s artistic delirium.

Over the last decade Rex The Dog has released on Kitsuné, Southern Fried and most notably Kompakt, where last year he dropped 'Sicko' and it shot him back into the spotlight. He's a certified hot dog and we've been in love with the pooch since he remixed 'Heartbeats' by The Knife in 2009 <3.

Premiere: Rex The Dog 'Teufelsberg'

This summer Tom Scholefield a.k.a. Konx-om-Pax will release the very welcome 'Refresher' EP, his follow up to last year's album, the popular 'Caramel', which explored and disassembled the afterglow of warm rave memory.  

The EP kicks off with the joyous actual rave of Cascada, a piece of sunny techno with a modulating, catchy stab riff over strong kicks. Next up, 'Species with Amnesia' starts of with hazy bells and synthetic, warped bird-like sounds, before dropping into a chugging Italo disco bassline and a relaxed synthline which snakes around the chords in unexpected ways as the track progresses. 

The first of two remixes, the µ-Ziq mix of 'Caramel', is recast to maximise it's airiness, its soft chords building into epic slabs of choral sound over loose breaks. The EP finishes on the slowly evolving dawn ambience of Huerco S.'s 'Extended Stay - The Morning Version' of 'Beatrice's Visit', eleven pure minutes of gentle bliss to get lost in.

and his project is quickly acclaimed by one of the masters of the genre like Derrick May in others. "My Origins Part2" is an invitation
to discover the roots of Techno, with this new version, Tevatron returns to the sources by offering us two beautiful timeless tracks
powered by bass lines based on arpeggio, powerful beats with a groove supported, striking agreements with a backbone very
representative of the Techno of the mid-90s. Laurent Garnier considers this EP as a new classic of its kind.

Premiere: Sascha Funke - Surumu (Original Mix) [You And Your Hippie Friends]

International Deejay Gigolo Records presents the third instalment of remixes of Joyce Muniz’s hit track ‘Toxic People’ which was released earlier this year. After DJ Hell, Play Paul, Jerome Sydenham and more have taken to reworking this track, this release now includes the digital release of ‘Dreamz’, a track originally only available on vinyl. Stepping up on the remix duties for this release in December is California native producer SHADED, who brings his own interpretation of weird, hypnotic and mysterious vibes.
