Drawing inspiration from the UK’s rich electronica and bass music heritage, Pulses is a hybrid project that merges weighty basslines, shifting rhythms rooted in dubstep structures, and chilly, atmospheric pads. Across its tracks, the album experiments with new forms of arrangements around the 140 bpm mark, crafting tension around simple motifs, layered with intricate sound designs and vivid mixes.
