About the mix: My first contact with House music was by randomly grabbing and playing one of my sister's illegal cassette tapes (that's how we shared music in the 90's!). It must have been around 1998, when I was about 11 or 12. The cassette said "Daft Punk - Homework" and I had no idea what that was, but it blew me away instantly. Cut 2 to a couple of years later, when I got my first salary from my first job ever, which I spent on a pair of second-hand turntables and mixer to learn how to dj. The early 2000s were all about electro revival, electroclash, EBM idolatry and a fetish for the 80s aesthetics. So that's what I used to play. Not much house music really... It's so funny to me that today my Dj sets are so much infused with that same strong 90's Chicago House influence that "Homework" had, specially since I spent soooo many years playing no house music at all. For this mix I wanted to put together many house records that I love in a Vinyl Only set, most of them are mid 90s, many classics, some of them very much in the Chicago House umbrella, but also some others falling in categories like HI-NRG, Acid, Proto-House, Electro and 90s Techno. I hope you like it!

About the mix: "When I think about the meaning of ""home,"" I picture it as my sanctuary—a space filled with affection, compassion, acceptance, and care. It's the place that embraces both my body and my essence just as they are, allowing me to expand and grow creatively, without limits. It’s where I can express the many voices within me, each sounding different depending on my mood. 
When I think of ""music,"" I see it as a tool for personal exploration that I share with the rest of the world. It's fluid, dynamic, freeing, and empowering. Through it, I recognize the tones of the realities around me, as well as the ones that define me. Music is always evolving, helping me understand my origins and processes of transformation. It allows me to craft shared experiences that move people and strengthen the bonds around me.
When I play ""house"" I am expressing all aspects of my human experience— the diversity, the differences, joy, the struggle, the chaos, uncertainty, unity and peace.
