Recorded in May 2014 on my relatively new and super smooth valve rotary mixer (Superstereo DN78) and my 1210s. The mix is a varied blend of some of some mainly deep house jams that I've been feeling and dropping alot over the last few years - mostly a littler older with one or two newer tracks here and there. Some modern classics in there too!

Summer House Jam (2014)

This is a recording of when I closed a really fun but shortlived Dublin clubnight called Geronimo Disco back in October 2012, for the second time in a month . The mix has just been gathering metaphorical dust on my computer since so I figured I might as well upload it. The set was short and I was beyond tipsy so I just lashed through an fairly unplanned selection of original disco classics, some house , various disco/80s edits, party favs etc and whatnot and just about kept it all together from what I remember.

The mixing is a little ropey sometimes and I definitely went overboard on the old filters here and there but overall I think the energy of the night itself shines through and I have fond (if limited) memories of a raucous and really up for it crowd giving it socks until the closing bell. Enjoy!

Live @ Geronimo Disco (2012)

Recorded at the tail end of January on my trusty ones and twos with the aim being to take the listener on a journey through sound on a deep/house tip rooted firmly on the dancefloor but equally enjoyable to just listen/bop to anytime, anywhere.

The mix features tons of my favourite records of the past few years new and old with a sprinkling of classics for good measure. Most of them bar a couple of the newer ones have had a fair old rinsing at this stage. I can safely say that I absolutely DIG every tune on this mix!

Winter House Jam (2016)

This mix is something a bit different from me and was inspired by the now finished Back To Mine CD mix series, which I was and still am a huge fan of - particularly the earlier ones. This mix takes in a selection of tunes spanning the last two decades and is mixture of old favourites, a few classics and one or two recently discovered personal gems.

Back To Mine (2012)

This is mix I recorded 3 years ago for a music  blog. Unfortunately at the time (May 2017), I ended up copying to a USB to listen back(while driving). Turned out I moved (rather than copied) the file, then misplaced the USB! Disaster , so I quickly forgot about as I didn't have the heart to re-record. I knew it was somewhere in the house/car but spent hours looking to no avail. 

Anyway fast forward to a few weeks ago (during lockdown) and I managed to find it! Delighted to have done so and and be able to finally share.

The mix starts of super deep and slowly eases into more full on party starters, taking in a blend of house, synth-pop, disco, funk and boogie - spanning across 38 years.  RINSE ON!

Discolated Hip (2017)

I recorded this mix for a radio show a few weeks ago, but also had something like this in mind over the past couple of years. The chance to have this featured on the show in question just gave me the kickstart to get my finger out.... and do it!

A little different from some of my previous offerings..... a deep and extremely melodic journey into some of the electronic music I've been feeling the past couple of years, with some original Italo and breakbeat-y stuff peppering the mix also, with the crank-up really coming in the last third. Recorded on my beloved Condesa Lucia - smooth as butter :)

Had a great time recording this (even if it took me 2 attempts ha) - it's a happy, uplifting, hopeful and at certain moments... melancholic mix.

Melodious Abyss (2020)

Recorded on the eve of St Patrick's Day 2009, unsurprisingly! It's a similar mix to the set I played at a gig later that night more or less.... I consider this mix to be a quirky journey into the groovy world of percussive house, deep house and tech-house. Er, or something like that anyways.... Two of my favourite house tracks make an appearance in this mix too (Bar A Thym and Charles Websters cut of the Sad Piano).

Nights Gone By (2009)

I'm from and live in Dublin (Ireland) and have been DJing regularly in and around the city since 2005 in various clubs, festivals, bars, afterhours shindigs and wherever else I can hop onto the ones and twos. I have a wide-ranging taste in music in general but lean more towards electronic styles when I'm DJing, however good music is good music innit? When I'm on the decks anything from disco,funk, 80s synthpop to new wave, house and techno goes - straight up, mixed up or sliced, diced and served depending on the occasion and my mood. I like to think that I'm fairly versatile in that I play the music I play without fear and not afraid of mixing it up, but always with a respectful nod to the venue I'm playing at and the crowd I'm playing to.

I've also dabbled in promoting my own nights from time to time and currently run a hugely successful house.disco.techno monthly clubnight called TORQUE with my good friend and long-time partner in crime Conky as both residents and co-founders. You can find us and friends in the basement of a venue called Pacinos At Night (Suffolk Street, D2) on the 1st Friday of every month. Cellar vibes!
