Samantha Loveridge once again demonstrates her talent for weaving a captivating vocal to tell a story. Inspired by Billie Martin's cover of Royal Black’s original alternative indie track, which made a powerful impact on the U.K. TV show ‘Thirteen’, Samantha created this edit which we're excited to share with you as a free download.

About the artist.
With a salvo of smash releases, Samantha Loveridge has taken the music industry by storm. Her cover of REM’s legendary ‘Losing My Religion’ with Treetalk came out on Get Physical into a blaze of radio airtime and support.
Championed by the likes of Black Coffee, Jimi Jules, Keinemusik and Rüfüs Du Sol. Samantha’s talent and hard work inspires power and unity which has connected dance floors all over the world.
Her original track ‘The Pusher’ was released on Innervisions and their iconic Secret Weapons series. A compilation showcasing some of the scene’s hottest music and made up of tunes label bosses Dixon, Âme and friends have been playing in the months leading to. A huge milestone for Samantha, to whom Dixon and Âme are
electronic Gods and direct inspiration.
Gypsy roots and one seriously hip Mum exposed Samantha to a variety of sounds, cultivating a taste for magic early doors. Listening and singing to Country music ignited a passion to explore different cultures and instruments, blossoming into a love of Middle-Eastern and Afro sounds that ripple in Samantha’s productions and DJ sets. Her follow up with Get Physical, a collaboration with vocalist Lizwi, showcases some of Samantha's genre-melding sublimity and created a wave of excitement.
In keeping with her esoteric tastes, Samantha manages two nuanced record labels. Inward Records, child of Pippi Ciez, serves all things Afro and Organic. While Sparrow and Barbosa’s label, Tortuga Tribes, showcases Caribbean House. Samantha oversees everything from artists to socials. On the decks Samantha is revered for her crowd synergy, technical tricks, and a messianic knack for playing the perfect track. She is known for pushing the envelope in the electronic music scene with a gripping blend of deep, afro and melodic sounds. As well as playing some of Australia’s coolest parties, including headlining the fabled Return to Rio Festival, Samantha also went global by chalking up gigs at Burning Man and Morocco, giving her a chance to embrace some of her musical influences. 
The road ahead looks bright for Samantha, as she continues to build on her success with a high output of releases on some of the most renowned labels, as well as gigs all over the world.

Nikko.Zs Dopamine Music opens the spring season by welcoming Alex Bessofen to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Colombia, Alexander Rincon aka Alex Bessofen emerged from his countrys electronic music underground on the strength of early tracks THE BEGINNING and Queen Of Diamonds. Eventually finding a passion for progressive house, the Bogota resident would establish a groovy melodic sound, in turn notching releases via Balkan Connection, Clubsonica, Droid9 and Mango Alley. Also an established DJ, Alex has been a fixture of Colombias vibrant nightlife, showcasing his impeccable track selection and smooth programming skills alongside international greats in Hernan Cattaneo and Joris Voorn. Now, coming off a near three-year production hiatus, Alex gets the year underway with his Dopamine White debut Bogota DC, alongside a remix from Armandhe. The nostalgic progressive vibes of Bogota DC sets the pace for Alexs production return. Beefy kick drums, rolling grooves and precise percussive arrangements lay the foundation for retro-arps and haunted chord stabs to paint an engaging storyboard, while tasteful modulation and emerging textures deliver a memorable main break. The second and final original Calle 26 lands with a deeper dancefloor approach, as Alex flexes his groove crafting prowess across the six-minute piece. Meditative arps, deconstructed vocals and spacey effects highlight a misty top line, as rolling percussive arrangements create a smooth energy that is both calming and confident. The release concludes with Armandhe making his label debut with the lone interpretation of Bogota DC. Upon creating the Armandhe moniker in 2018, the Colombian artist has enjoyed a steady rise through the progressive underground. Releases courtesy of Balkan Connection, Clubsonica, Droid9, Movement Recordings and Sprout, amongst others, have been instrumental in establishing the Medellín resident as one of his countrys emerging talents. With 2024 being highlighted by a contribution to Clubsonicas popular Sampler Series, Armandhe now adds Dopamine White to his resume with a deep melodic rendition of Bogota DC. Taking a more direct dancefloor approach, Armandhe reassembles the framework with warm kick drums, rhythmic pulses and quirky effects. Hypnotic and energetic in equal measure, its an evolving narrative which delights across the break, tastefully creating a wall of calming radiance, as arpeggiated sequences melt down into a chugging groove-centric conclusion.

Artist Bio:
Gilles Bernies is a German-French Melodic House & Techno producer, live performer, and DJ based in Düsseldorf, Germany. With roots in piano and bass guitar, Gilles shifted to electronic music in 2017, incorporating analog synths like the legendary Roland SH-101 and Moog Sub 37 to create his deep, progressive, and melodic sound. His DJ sets have taken him to clubs and festivals around Düsseldorf, while he was signed to and released music on national and international labels (e.g. German Melodic Techno Label „Zehn Records“ and Australian Iconic Label „Suckmusic“).

Through various projects and studio sessions, e.g with Barbara Tucker, Huxley, Steve Bug, Jamie (Audiojack), Denney, Reelow and many more established artists, his music certainly gained recognition on all digital platforms like Beatport and global radio stations, helping him to build his world wide fanbase. (Focus on Europe, South America, India)

During the last years, Gilles’ track was featured in Spotify’s influential *Electronic Rising* playlist, further solidifying his presence in the scene. As Marketing Manager and artist combined he also curates the weekly Spotify playlist #TasteOfElectro, highlighting the best in Melodic House and Techno.
