Gillie Mc Pherson has been singing for over 40 years in Europe.
Born in Belfast, she was influenced by Blues and Irish Traditional music and started singing and playing guitar at the age 16. She organized folk sessions in clubs and bars in Belfast and shared music there.
She then left for London in the 70's where she played Rock, Folk and Jazz in different bands and toured in clubs and festivals. She also presented a serie on BBC channel called "Gillie" around that time.

She then moved to France to build a Rock and Blues bands, and a traditional folk band.
Now she still lives and teaches singing and voice expression in France.

The styles of music are various, even cross-bred. Some of her songs are traditional but most are her own compositions and text.

Her live concerts are always so punchy, cozy, fulfilling and energetic.
