The Reckoning

Nothing complicated here.  Just some kick ass rock instrumentals with drums, bass, acoustic and electric guitars.  I like to experiment with effects, synth and piano as well.  All lead guitar is improvised and editing is kept to a minimum.  My guitar playing comes from the heart, not the head, so most of it is also recorded in a single take.  I find that if I put too much thought into it, it tends to get worse.

This is just something I do for fun but I am always on the lookout for other musicians to collaborate with, particularly singers.  

I record with a Martin acoustic, PRS and Fender electrics through a Hughes and Kettner amp (direct), Casio keyboard/midi controller, Presonus interface and Ableton (Lite version).  All of the software I use is free.
