Gil Yaniv, is an American rapper from the Greater Richmond Region in Virginia. He was born November 8th 1989. Also an Air Force veteran, Gil Yaniv is backpack rapper who’s lyrical ability and natural talent goes far beyond that of any other emerging artists that in the rap industry today.  In the coming months Gil Yaniv is planning to release his next project entitled “Organized Religion”. This will be the third in his collection of solo mixtapes ,and fourth total, that takes listeners on the journey through the struggle of a backpack rapper. Like his previous work, this mixtape will be highly confrontational. Throughout the mixtape listeners will gain a better understanding of what it is like to be a black man in America today. His goal for this next project is to start a conversation, he wants his fan base to be free thinkers, and not be so influenced by what society is telling them to think. In between working in the studio, promoting his brand and music, and doing live performances there is never a resting moment for this grinding artist. As an artist one of the most important keys to success is having a dedicated and vocal fan base. Gil Yaniv’s fans have spoken and he is definitely an artist to pay attention to.
