Denham Audio is set to release his brand new EP Thirty Eight Snub, his solo debut on his Club Glow label.

The London-based artist, alongside his label co-owners Mani Festo, Borai & LMajor, have been lighting up the scene with their raucous, bass and breaks heavy productions for a number of years now.

This new EP follows the same trend with four new rough and ready tracks riding a breakbeat jungle tip all delivered in masterfully ice cold fashion and includes Grime legend and MC Trim featuring on the title track.

Today we excitedly premiere B1 from the EP U Give Me, which explodes out the speakers with its relentless bassline, rolling breaks and sing-a-long vocals. Big f***ing tune!

The project was undertaken in support of Fareshare, a UK based charity that combats food poverty across the country.

In our time of spiralling inflation, the burgeoning cost of living crisis has made food poverty a daunting reality for so many. excess will donate all profits from the sales of this project to Fareshare, to make what difference we can to those in need during a time of unprecedented difficulty. 

Contributing to this causes are a host of exciting artists, across a wide spectrum of underground bass music genres. Moving from ambient 2-step and bouncy UK funky rhythms to raucous 4x4 grime and turbo jungle, this record navigates every corner of the bass music landscape, without stopping to take a breath. For Oxford residents, Mayday (May 1st) is an ancient ritual marking the arrival of spring, and the one guaranteed all night party in the calendar. It's a simple formula: make it to Magdalen bridge in time for dawn.

At the city's intersection, ravers from The Bullingdon in East Oxford finally reunite wth those who chose to spend the night in one of the city's other legendary nightspots... The Cellar, Carbon, The Coven... (RIP).

Roads are closed as bizarre strung out characters flood the streets, kids sing to crowds of over 15,000 from 44 metres above as the sun rises and celebrations resume - last night's wave spilling into May morning and beyond.

For the first time in recent history, we in Oxford won't be celebrating together this Mayday. So to mark the madness that never was, we've rallied the local scene to give the rest of you a glimpse into our world... and we couldn't have asked for a more sick collection of tunes for the occasion.

True to form, we've sequenced MAYDAY to recreate the disorientating progression from the dark freakish depths of the night before, through till dawn and into the morning after. If the night before isn't your thing - feel free to join us at track 8 as the sun comes up.

Deep Cover is proud to present this 14 track introduction to just some of the incredible artists from the Oxford area. Get stuck in and help support our scene at one of its times of greatest need. All profits from this release will be divided equally between the artists involved.
