Memories by Arty: "This was a rather experimental track for me, and it wasn’t until the last moment that I decided to sign it to Anjunabeats. When I sent it to their management, they were very excited about it, and they pushed it as hard as they could. I have to say, I really didn’t expect it to blow up as much as it did — getting so much support from both the house scene and the trance scene, from Axwell to Armin van Buuren and from the Swedish House Mafia to Above & Beyond. I’m hearing it dropped all the time by DJs at festivals. I finished it just before I played at ASOT 500 in Holland, where it was really great to see a positive reaction from the trance crowd."

Eli & Fur, aka Eli Noble and Jennifer Skillman, have been making a name for themselves on the London DJ circuit of late, and putting out a string of fresh and exciting singles, including “Seeing Is Believing”, their excellent collaboration with Shadow Child. “Feel The Fire” is a tougher, harder-edged take on their typically melodic sound, and works wonders with their ethereal vocals.

A memorable moment from Anjunadeep 06, the energetic original mix has been a mainstay in James Grant and Jody Wisternoff’s DJ sets this year. Fellow rising stars Journeyman take on remix duties, stripping down the peak-time power of the original for a more mellow rolling style, with a buoyant groove carrying the track through flowing chord stabs and the distinctive vocal hook.

Bucharest's cool cat's ' Yoon ' get the JW remix treatment on Sister Bliss from Faithless's Junkdog imprint . Rising Anjunadeep star Lane 8 announced the release of his debut album in style recently, with the brilliant new single ‘Ghost feat. Patrick Baker’. On remix duties are a diverse trio of talented producers; techno innovator Audion, Aus Music prodigy Bwana and blogger's favourite Luvian.

After collaborating with Lane 8 on a track on the upcoming album, Matthew Dear took to his notorious Audion guise to remix ‘Ghost’, following remixes for legendary acts like Leftfield, Four Tet, Dubfire and Seth Troxler. Completely twisting the mood of the original, cutting the vocal over a frenetic groove he delivers a gnarly late-night techno cut.

Bwana has marked himself out as one to watch with his excellent EPs on Will Saul’s Aus Music, and his epic take on ‘Ghost’ is another winner, playing off the subtle melodies of the original with a huge bass hook, and Patrick Baker’s evocative lyrics.

UK based Luvian has been bubbling away for a while, with his early tracks picking up millions of plays on YouTube and Soundcloud. He takes his remix away from the club, instead opting for a gorgeous poolside version, stripping back almost entirely to sparse percussion, sensual melodic textures and warped vocals.
