𝗡𝗼𝘁-𝗙𝘂𝗿𝘆𝗮 seems to have known civilization before the age of technology. During his wandering, Riddick discovers an artificial cave with a dark obsidian monolith at the center and a small pool in front of it, possibly a ritual circle. The walls of the cave are covered with engravings about the planet and the mud-demon plague during the rain seasons. It is not clear if the planet was abandoned by this civilization at some point, or if the local fauna has procedurally exterminated the inhabitants season after season.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐋  The Jaguar Warriors (Ocēlōpilli in the Nahuatl language) were the elite soldiers of the Aztec Empire. Unlike the Eagle Warrior , jaguar warriors come from the lower class.
To achieve the rank of Jaguar Warrior, the soldier had to capture 12 opponents alive in two days, from then on he could dedicate himself completely to being a warrior, protecting cities and merchants.
In battle, they were sent to the front of the army, directly attacking the enemy with ferocity. They wore light armor with a jaguar design, and carried the Atlatl spear and the Macuahuit mace .

The warriors believed to possess the ferocity of the jaguar, and represent the night god Tezcaltlipoca .
Being a jaguar warrior was the only way a lower class person could access a better life. Being part of the warrior elite, they had access to the temples, they could drink Pulque and they could have concubines.
They had the task of providing human sacrifices , which were killed in Gladiatory Sacrifice , or in ceremonies by the priests.

The Nihilanth is a member of an alien race that hailed from beyond the Xen dimension, living on their own homeworld in their own universe, long before the Black Mesa Incident.

An unknown amount of time before the events of Half-Life, the Nihilanth's species came into contact with an immensely powerful interdimensional empire known as the Combine. What followed was a brutal campaign of genocide against the Nihilanth's species, as the Combine mercilessly invaded their homeworld and drove them to near-extinction, leaving the Nihilanth itself as the sole survivor. In an effort to avoid being hunted down and destroyed by the Combine, the Nihilanth and its minions escaped into the border world, Xen, where they barely managed to survive in a new ecosystem. Eventually, the Vortigaunts, another species that were victims of the Combine's brutality, escaped to Xen as well, and the Nihilanth promptly enslaved them, forcing them into servitude.

The Revenge of the forty-seven rōnin also known as the Akō incident (赤穂事件, Akō jiken) or Akō vendetta, is a historical event in Japan in which a band of rōnin (lordless samurai) avenged the death of their master on 31 January 1703. It is one of the three major adauchi vendetta incidents in Japan.

The story tells of a group of samurai after their daimyō (feudal lord) Asano Naganori was compelled to perform seppuku (ritual suicide) for assaulting a powerful court official named Kira Yoshinaka after the court official insulted him. After waiting and planning for a year, the rōnin avenged their master's honor by killing Kira. The authorities compromised by ordering the rōnin to commit seppuku as an honorable death for the crime of murder. This true story was popular in Japanese culture as emblematic of the loyalty, sacrifice, persistence, and honor (qualities samurai follow called bushidō)
