Lately I've been sad. I been thinking about what makes me happy and why I'm not pursuing that. Life is too short to be unhappy. IDK.

 this mixtape was what I imagined looking back on your life at an elderly age would feel like. Familiar verses that reflected on different aspects of life; substance abuse, partying, depression. And how that can culminate into a unsatisfying existence.

I've been sitting on this tape since march, I didn't know when the right time would've been to drop it. I decided to release it as a companion mixtape to my new album "it gets better till it doesn't' (released on all platforms on oct. 1) since that album tackles topics of depression and regret, but from the perspective of the present.

I hope if you're reading this that my music reaches you in a good place. I know I'm spitting out a lot of information right now, a lot of which I've never talked about openly. But know that I'm grateful for every listen I get. I just want to leave something that can be remembered, and a small part of that is being heard.

Merry Charismas from your friendly neighborhood MoShot! tis the season of last minute shopping and pouring yourself a cup of gin every morning to cope with the fleeting joy of the season with every coming year.

Most of these beats were made 6 months ago. I generally dislike trappy Christmas's songs, I love the sound of warm analogue elements to convey the season of Christmas. It's what I  associate with the season more then the festive melodies and instruments.

Shouts out to CookinSoul. He inspired me to try and make a Christmas tape since I've been listening to "Christmas with DOOM" for 2 years now when the season comes around.

We'll see If I can maintain this new tradition.
