Third record by GIOBBE. This record was born just before the pandemic and grew up in the midst of lockdowns and red zones. A long but un-suffering gestation of connections kept alive at a distance, in the safety of their own gentle dwellings. The themes dealt with in the lyrics of the 10 songs are all linked by a common thread: that of people-to-people relationships crumbling due to miscommunication, unbalanced relationships, and unfulfilled expectations. When we feel hurt and disappointed by those we thought were important and incapable of doing harm, the first reaction and principle of healing is simply to retreat, safely, within friendly walls.
