Marcu Rares’s original version of “Lunatique” is a masterpiece from the Romanian Minimal genre, which Tao Andra discovered on Youtube few years back and used to play in her Minimal sets. The two artists are from the same city in Romania and both have a background in Minimal, which made them connect instantly.

Last year, Andra approached Rares about the possibility of making her own version of the song and he immediately sent the parts. A year later, she finished it and this release became reality. 

The remix brings the energy of peak time techno while keeping the emotions and gentleness of the original, the ideal match to have on VOLTA. And a statement why Tao Andra is one to watch.

This is Melleefresh in her purest form: wild, camp, and deliciously unhinged. NikolaswithK brings the acid overdose, riding the 303 on a wild warehouse stormer that will leave the crowd gasping for air. Then Audi Étoffe launches the whole package into outer space, spinning XXX into a sleek, futuristic psy-techno trip that’s equal parts alien invasion and queer fever dream.
