Gior Masaki, going by the name of Giorgio Ashruf, a boy from Arnhem who has been producing house tracks since he was 13 years old. At the time he was inspired by his older brother Sergio, who was constantly working on producing hip hop beats. Gior Masaki was often with him to see how his brother produced beats. That is when it all started. After the years went by, his computer crashed multiple times when he was 18 years old. Sadly, he lost all his productions. Anger and disappointment played a part when he stopped making music for six months. He put all his love and time in his biggest hobby, soccer. At the age of 22, Gior Masaki was inspired by his younger brother Giordano Ashruf and his cousin Rashid Badloe, they are also known as the Afro Bro’s. The love for music slowly started to grow again and he got really inspired when the Afro Bro’s spinned his beat ‘Plotagesh’ in several clubs in the Netherlands. That day was an eye-opener for Gior Masaki. It was a huge rush for him and it gave him strength when the crowd went crazy on his beat. After that day, the Afro Bro’s encouraged and recommended Gior Masaki to continue his work as a deejay and producer. Right after that he started to practice deejaying at a friend’s house and shortly after that he spinned his beats every week in club Habana in Arnhem. Soon after that, Gior Masaki came with a new Bomber track which he produced together with the Afro Bro’s and Michael Ferrero. This is a new hit called ‘Laptop’, which will soon be released at Afreaka Records. You can already hear ‘Laptop’ every week in the gigs of the Afro Bro’s, and it’s also in the music collection of deejay Alvaro. Gior Masaki created a new style in the world of house music, in which he put all his desires and inspirations. A track in which all music styles of the continents South-America, Africa and Europe sort of come together and has a lot of the three different styles: Latin House, Dirty House and Kuduro House. Gior Masaki may be an underdog in the world of house right now, but a lot of people already see him as a worthy and future new deejay in the scene. His goal is to conquer the world of house with his dope tracks and to make the crowd go crazy on his beats.
