In the sense of “Under promise, Overdeliver”, Joey gave us not an EP, but a whole mini album. Melodic sidesteps ranging from ambient soundscapes to deep dark melodic pushers, ready to find their way into your recordbox.

The Realm is a warm melodic endeavour drenched in analog flavour while providing a glimpse of the music of the future.

Doubts is a octave jumping sonic affair giving an insight in Joey's intricate studio capabilities.

On closing we have A Valley Of Silence, a more uptempo melodic groover, filled with arpeggios and white noise splashes.

Ideal Audio presents the fourth and final instalment of Oliver Huntemann and Dubfire's seminal ELEMENTS series. These techno heavyweights have worked together on numerous projects over the years, but it is their Elements collaborations that have shone impressively as a complete body of work. AGUA is the final piece of the music puzzle and completes the series that first saw the light of day back in 2010 with the scorching FUEGO.

2011 brought us TERRA, firm and powerful with its devastating breakdown. 2013 saw us breathe in the mystical AIRE, harnessing the elements of the previous tracks to build a fresh and magical moment. AGUA, as its name suggests, flows effortlessly, helped in no small part by the sultry vocal of Xenia Beliayeva, but kicks in equal measure.

Signing off in such style has also lead to Ideal Audio drafting in some heavy weight talent on the remixes. Carl Craig, under his C2 moniker, dives straight in to strip the original to its core. A single drum beat, siren, clap… and then the kick. Petar Dundov twists the original’s elements into a bubbling acidic stream that washes over us. An impressive package for an impressive finale!

'Iyewaye', Oliver Koletzki’s first release after the autobiographical I AM OK album, introduced a new facet of the artist’s sound. The EP catered to a darker and more raw aesthetic, a direction followed and deepened by the four remixes. First up is the title track 'Iyewaye', turned into a lengthy tech infused introspection by Hatzler. Loosely centered around the initial vocals, Loco & Jam’s makeover explores the track’s captivating snappy narrative. The more rhythm focused 'Ipuza' gets a special treatment from Hidden Empire who dial up the aggression of the percussion. Zakari & Blange downplay the track’s initial exotic elements, focusing on the rattling synths and giving it a late-night dancefloor rework.

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

Do you believe in conincidences?

I don’t - anymore. I used to believe in conincidences but I’ve learned that everything happens for a reason. And that everything in life happens for you, not to you.

So, I have been busying myself with the idea of an remix album of classic tracks of mine for quite some time. But I struggled with the selection of tracks and which remix artist to pair with which track.  Until certain people entered my life. Some of them I only „met“ through their music on social media and never in person, others I met briefly, like in a car to a festival and some I started to hang out with and they became real life friends. All of these people connect with my music and I feel drawn to their music and in many ways we insprire each other.  As a natural result this remix EP took shape and I am excited to present it to you. The record contains four remixes of tracks from my back catalogue that cover a period of 20 (!) years, from my early days on Bush in the mid 90s to my first label Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten in the 00`s up until now, where I run Electric Ballroom from Berlin. Drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. Their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is Enrico Sangiuliano. Now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

The prolific Italian producer has been catapulted into the limelight after the runaway success of his past releases, and now Biomorph is born. 

A very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. A musical adaptation describing how biological and technological advances over numerous generations of time have all started from the same first step in our own biological journey.

Divided into 4 parts, Organisms opens with atmospheric tones, gradually blending complex textures and timbres to begin the evolutional process. The beginning of this section combines full sounding arrangements before stripping it all back to basics. From here it dissolves into the atmosphere. Organisms then progresses into a break-beat influenced, down tempo track using synths to add complexity to the straight, broken rhythms.

Galactic, futuristic elements are found in both tracks in Cosmic Forces. Upbeat, groovy, electronic synths resonate, before ‘Hidden T’ brings the tension to get things pumped up with stratospheric swirls and twirls to lay down one of the most mind meltingly deep drops.

Metamorphosis is mysterious, its opening beat is a deep and piercing tone that sends the listener into a sensory awareness of their surroundings before breaking into a fully charged, techno track, with Enrico’s trademark sounds and textures.

All evolution has an ending.

Two Probabilities shows the positive, starting out evocative and emotional, with a gentle harmony, gazing towards a ‘New Dawn’. On the other side of the spectrum lies the negative. This is influenced with a rhythm that articulates the beat of death, mathematical, cold and metallic in texture, it shows the unsustainability of its nature, with a hectic, anxious break beat influenced ending.

The digital version also features a bonus track; 'A Further Existence'.
