Bari-based talent Fedele’s Obscura Music label continues to go from strength to strength as a pioneering platform for avant-garde techno music with a leftfield twist. Following a string of poignant releases earlier in the year, the label returns in November with a generous serving of its undeniably unique sound palate provided by a carefully handpicked selection of celebrated electronic names.

Heading the bill, label boss Fedele is joined by a worthy cast of adversaries, including Damon Jee, Stephan Barnem, Works of Intent, Odd Oswald, VNTM, Rez Dorsia, Golden Virgo, Emitr, Juanito State, and Dustin Holtsberry.

Spanning thirteen tracks, The Sound Of Obscura takes you on a spirited journey through a myriad of different genre-loosened vibes. To close the year we have label boss Eddy Romero with 3 tracks in the mood of him this 2022 Deep and dub house keeping his minimal side and darkness more balanced but in there. As always music to trip, to dance or just to listen at home. The spanish artist that lives in France doesn't believe in hypes or tags he loves electronic music since early 90's and all his stuff is a mix of all the sounds he got since them not going just to Dance music also in many other genres. This Ep is the evolution of his sound into something deeper going back to his roots but with a more mature sound.

This release comes with a nice remix by Tzinah owner Primarie that has take the track that gives title to this ep to another parade a nice trip of 11 minutes that will be in the likes of all of the romanian sound.
With this release we close the year and we get ready for our 15 years ! Stay tuned !

Some time ago we had a utopian vision that seemed impossible in an increasingly saturated market where the music business was taking the strength and direction where many artists were betraying their talent to sell more records and become popular.

Back then, two enthusiasts from their little corner in Paris decided to create a record label to give some positive air to all the pollution and toxicity we were living, a label where we could all contribute in a positive way to help children in the poorest regions of the world.

Who are you? Thanks but no thanks, we often heard, but over time the idea became a reality and with the help of many artists who without asking for anything in return did not hesitate for even a second to be part of this project Lost on You was born and that vision became our mission.

Today, after 5 years of foundation the effort of all led us to build a school in Sierra Leone where 207 children study happily since September 2021 in 6 well-equipped classrooms, with teachers well-trained by our organization and collaborators. Going a step further for this year 2023 we will open two new schools in Liberia in partnership with SoundCloud, but none of this would be possible without all the people involved in our project, from the artists to the media who help us without asking anything in return. This release is a tribute to all of them, a selection of our favorite tracks during these 5 years, for you and for all those who are still faithfully by our side.

Blindsmyth’s second album "All That Fiberglass“ received quite some love after its release in February 2022. Several of the titles found their way both into the sets of many DJs, as well as the playlists and charts on everybody’s favourite platforms.

Should you previously have been following Connaisseur, you will doubtlessly already be awaiting the remixes which usually succeed an album on our imprint. A format we have loved since our beginnings and for which, in all those years, we were rarely disappointed by our choice of remixers. The same can again be said about the interpretations for Blindsmyth now, with his originals offering a leeway for remix possibilities. Since we have again gathered a rather diverse collection of remixes, we have decided to release them in four parts.

Volume 2 continues in style with the omnipresent Adana Twins, who have delivered a bouncy and intense interpretation of "All That Fiberglass“, a version which can’t wait for the next open air season. Berlin regular Schtu picked "Die Tiefe“, probably one of the most difficult tracks to remix on the whole album, and -damn!- did he do a fine job. This remix is a symbol for remix craftsmanship. Borneo, the solo project of one half of Monkey Safari also decided to remix "All That Fiberglass“, but decided to bring it into a state-of-the-art UK house vibe, with a big portion of pop on top.
