Was so good to be invited back to do a guest mix on RTRFM 92.1 Looney Choons show last Friday night/Saturday morning, with my good friends and hosts of the show, DMC & Davi Burn :)

It's been a couple of years since I've played on the radio, but it's always great to step back into the Red Room and share my sound and some favourite tunes I'm absolutely loving at the moment :)  The first track of this mix is Anangu Moon Feat. Boskasie (Aaaron Remix), by  Mr Blase, Boskasie.  This would have to be my favourite melodic track at the moment, which I've had on repeat for days now.  Its an exquisite track, which I find so powerful, it literally brings me to tears :)  Love it when music does that <3

Today I woke up feeling sad... sad at the world and the divide and segregation that's been imposed on hardworking, everyday people, communities, industries & friends. I let myself feel it for a while, cried, breathed, cried some more and then decided to change my mood by losing myself in MUSIC <3  
This is my church... This is where I heal my hurts...

This is a random, on the fly mix of a few new tunes Im enjoying at the moment. Some powerful, driving, uplifting Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House tracks, which immediately enhanced my mood and took my mind off the world.

It's been a long time between mixes! :) I've finally been able to create again, since moving house twice. First time I've had a proper mix in this new house. Feels so good and long overdue!  This is a recording of my set from the Pachamama Gatherings - Into the Womb IV all female doof we had a  few weeks ago.  Was such a beautiful, magical weekend, celebrating the feminine energy <3

It was my actual birthday this night too and I was so happy when the manager asked me to stay on and play an extra half hour, as the crowd were vibing hard :D  Definitely one for the memory bank, thats for sure!!! <3  :)

This is a recording from my set at this years  WA Regional Burn -  Blazing Swan, where we did a Solouk takeover in the infamous God Said No tent, Sunday night after the Temple Burn.  I played 3-4.30am.  It's always a night to remember in God Said No, and this was no exception.  The place was rammed and the vibes were high! :)  Thanks to all who stayed up into the early hours and danced with me <3

Mireille Human a.k.a GirlLondon, is a beloved Perth based DJ, who is no stranger to the Music industry. Since the early 90’s, she’s been frequenting the clubs, raves and festivals of Perth and the UK. After years of gracing many dance floors as a punter, her love for the music and desire to share that feeling with others, led her to learn the craft of DJ-ing in 2013.  Since then, her dedication and passion has been evident. Putting her heart and soul into every one of her sets, GirlLondon’s unique style never fails to disappoint, taking you on an exquisite journey of sound. 
Carefully curating her sets, GirlLondon’s huge love for Progressive and Melodic soundscapes, ‘sophisticated beats with exotic tribal samples, haunting melodies, hypnotising vocals, rolling baselines and a driving groove’, help her create journeys of epic proportions. Inspired by artists such as Stan Kolev, Matan Caspi, Rafael Cerato, Miss Monique, Stylo, Gabreal Moreas, Hidden Empire & OC & Verde just to name a few. Since her first gig in 2016 at HOUSE SESSIONS for Spectrum Audio AU, GirlLondon has worked hard as a DJ. Always putting her best foot forward, she represents some of Perth’s best crews as a Resident DJ. These include CONCEPT (supporting international acts - Drunken Kong & Cosmic Boys), Solouk (supporting THEMBA), Twisted Jah, God Said No & Pachamama Gatherings. Always a great addition to a good set list, throughout her journey GirlLondon has shined and performed at some of the coolest parties, clubs and festivals across Australia.
