The 12-track album finds DJ Shadow exploring new realms in addition to the deep samples and kinetic soundscapes that helped to launch his career 20 years ago. @Sinoptik-Music is an artist hailing from Tbilisi who specialises in constructing densely textured, ambient soundscapes that envelop listeners in breathtaking atmospheres.

Next up the Georgian producer is debuting on R&S sublabel Apollo with a three-track EP titled ‘Voices In My Head’. The title track is an awe-inspiring cut that weaves together gentle percussive brushwork, shimmering synths and softly rolling piano chords to form a subtly powerful piece of music that’s steeped in understated emotion.

Premiere: Sinoptik Music 'Voices In My Head'

I found this track in a huge pile of old ass CDs that I have made through out my life.  

This track was produced by Dirt aka Dustin Denega and myself back in, I want to say 2006 . . . we were trying to start a project called the Dark Hippies along with Phokus, where we would create dark atmospheres and dark beats with a light-hearted hippie nature hence Dark Hippies.  Obviously we never really got the project of the ground, but at least we did this.
