Compuesta y realizada para Audiored V de Sónec, Sonoteca de Arte Sonoro https://proyectosonec.org/2021/audiored-v/ el sábado 6 de noviembre de 2021. 

Reversionada para presentación en vivo en el Festival Internacional de la Imagen el 19 de Octubre 2022 en un grand piano Steinway de la década de los '50s en el Teatro Fundadores de la ciudad de Manizales, Colombia. Financiada por DIRAC, Ministerio de las Culturas, Gobierno de Chile.

Endless - Xenosinte (feat. bird sounds by Peter Boesman)

Pillow Slipper / C69 PJs [disquiet0568] is a 03:47 track. 
An organised improvisation, it is structured in a lose mental map of 9 seconds of silence, roughly 1 minute of whole tone scale for the fallin asleep phase, less than 1 minute of nightmarish rythms and tones, dissonant rough playing and finally merging into C69 soothing chord in melodic toylike arpeggios and melody. Paraphrasing: inducing the silencing of nightmares with this single piano chord.

Pillow Slipper / C69 PJs [disquiet0568]

Dance Ninja (Magic Monk vibes) is a track made for Baile / 24hrs de Arte Sonoro by Radio CASo Centro de Arte Sonoro de Buenos Aires, Argentina in an open call for tracks for a 24 hour radio show. 
It is a simple drum track with a one take- synth improvisation leaving in prior / next notes (wrong notes) while listening to the soundtrack of Legend of Kage arcade game, which is also included on the track and video of the track. 

This a non-commercial, creative commons creation and is a homage to Taito games which lit my childhood with the creativity of the possible.

The recorded steam is possible due to the hand which clicks the final sound or closure of that sound made perpetual and free. 
Choosing microcells of two non exact seconds as a drum mesh of clicks which will guide the steams of train in land and ship at sea the steam is fog and the fog is steam. 

This is an Audacity software made sound collage.

Steam Stream [disquiet0254-FogandSteam]

Narrative: the future of the past as shown by Kurt Vonnegut's 1952 Utopia 14, Carl Sagan's spaceship and the like. Recorded sounds would dance and swim in the vast obscurity of future space continuum, that is now. 

Tech: A layered three track midi improvisation. First improvising with clarinet, then with french horns upon oboe. Finally with an arpeggiator called 'fig leaf' I improvised over french horns, oboe on mute. The idea is to partly disrupt the possibility of harmonic improvisation, to meet and part melodies, while also using reverse arpeggios for clarinet and horn. Later in audacity I cut the original improvisation (6:15)into a 3:02 format, with bits of fade outs in the beginning for a little balance and paulstretching outro.

Utopia 14 [disquiet0264-Time Travel]

This song for Bassel Khartabil is inspired in his lifelong commitment to the Creative Commons project and the consequences of prosecution and incarceration that led to his current disappearance. 
The song is an anonymous song, an Arabic chant theme, which mutates into improvisations, errors and insistence on the theme. Anonymous and free songs have always existed, in both East and West. It is only tyrant regimes -both left and right- which prosecute the free expression of art and free communication among peers and citizens. 
This is dedicated with all due respect to Mr. Bassel Khartabil, his wife Noura  and his family.

Tech data::: Casio CTK-4000 as midi controller / Steinway Piano + Percussion Orchestra midi / mix: Audacity. Chant Arabe score from Suzuki Method book 1.
