This is one of the first songs I got in contact with Jacques Brel, the legendary Belgium songwriter, although it was through this translation of the song "Dans le port Amsterdam" into "Stad Amsterdam" bij Acda & De Munnik. I think I could never run 'Into the wild', like the man in the movie, however, I sometimes fantasize about it, burn my last money and walk away from my former life, but there's always so much to stay for, love, family and friends to be the first. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, unless it's on a long travel with Lisette :).

This song by Eddie Vedder gives me a way out for a few minutes, even when I sing it, so please consider it your wanderaway minutes too.
