A rock track I started recording in 2011 for a now-defunct music project. Originally longer and with lyrics and a completely different title (Realisation), I decided to condense the track and finish the mastering processes. And as I've never gotten around to recording any vocals it's officially an instrumental.

I wrote and recorded over the last couple of days; the bass took the longest as it was so persistent in the song.

Originally I was just going to make a swing track, but got a bit carried away and now, as the title suggests, there's a bit of punk in there. Also some groovy jazzy bits.

The song itself was an experiment as I started off with just the drums. But instead of having an idea of what the song will sound like, I just started playing some random drum parts. Then I pieced together the useable parts in a DAW and then added the bass and finally improvised guitar parts on top of that.
