After four years Swiss musician Kalabrese releases a brand new EP called 'Bananenräuber' and the eponymous track is musically as deep as the story behind it. Kalabrese manages to combine dubby elements with rasping synth patterns and a strong feel-good vibe that is partly interrupted and drifts into anger. 

Kalabrese's EP 'Bananenräuber' will be out May 12th, on Rumpelmusig.

In dem er sich mit der Perfektion seiner Musik auseinandersetzt, geht er direkt auf die Leidenschaft seines Publikums ein, verführt mit Stilmitteln unterschiedlicher Musik und schafft trotz zahlreicher Variationen immer wieder einen Einklang zwischen Ihm und seiner Umwelt.



Whilst experiencing Gitte´s music for the first time, the conclusion forms very distinct and quickly. One is engaging with a very exceptional artist here. The individual and smooth consolidation of acustic and electronic repertoire merged with original variations open up the playful and highly musical world of Gitte Verfuehrt.

His sets introduce to the methods of persuasion, thereby living up to his name as “verfuehrt“ means as much as “entices“ or „persuades“. His delicate but non the less highly energetic cocktails of house, funk, soul and techno expose him as a person who recognizes hearing as the utmost primary sense.

Diversified and atmospheric dj-sets establish a dialogue between Gitte and the audience´s passion. Through being concerned with the perfection of his music he directly commits himself to said passion, entices with elements of different music and in spite of numurous variations creates deep unison between him and his ambience.

Gitte Verfuehrt - Ti i Ya (Original Mix) - KAL009

Jascha Hagen shows his tremendous feeling for soulful and groovy rhythms. 
'Heroin' is pure love and lets us think back to warm and cosy summer days. 
The ep contains four diverse remixes by Datastix, Who is That, Zoltan Solomon and E. Bergmann.


The orignial is a very smooth and sweet deephouse track which prepares us for the coming summer days. 
While Datastix deliver a chillstep remix the other three artists which are for the first time on Auditive Records 
keep it to the 4/4 rhythm but differing from each other. The Who is That remix shows a good feeling for deep and housy sounds. 
E. Bergmann's remix is chilly but danceable at the same time and Zoltan Solomons dubby techno version completes this extensive ep.
