Mezzo Soprano, Giulia Laudano has been singing since she was eight and has always had a passion for Opera. She was a Music Scholar at Dame Alice Owen’s School, Hertfordshire and studied concurrently at the Royal College of Music Junior Department.
She is now in her third year on the BMus programme at the Royal Academy of Music studying Opera and Classical Singing with Catherine Wyn Rogers and Audrey Hyland.
She has won the National Association of Choirs Cup for Future Talent, the Smythe Cup for Excellence, the John Rutter Award for Superb Musicianship and the Jack Petchey Leadership Award. 
On the concert platform she has performed at venues including Eton College Chapel, Selwyn College Cambridge, The Salvation Army Hall in Oxford Street, Charterhouse, Il Duomo in Milan, Italy, the Dugdale Centre in Enfield, London and many other Cathedrals. 
During the Summer of 2016, Giulia was selected to take part on an Italian Intensive Opera Course in Puglia working with James Bonas, Isabella Radcliffe and Philip Thomas where she took on the role of Dorabella doing a scene from Cosí fan tutte and of Meg doing a scene from Falstaff. Giulia also took part in the British Youth Opera Workshop where she took on the role of third lady in a scene from The Magic Flute. 
Prior to her undergraduate studies she was a chorister with International Voices of Enfield Choir which is run by June and Christopher Keyte. She also took part in Southgate Opera's production of Eugene Onegin.
She was delighted to have been selected to represent the Royal Academy of Music at the Young Singers’ Kathleen Ferrier Competition, in Blackburn, 2015.
